Will not return to this Goodcents. I don’t recommend anyone visit here either. Delivery is beyond slow, blamed on the system not knowing the volume of the store which I understand but it’s not my problem. Sounds like they need a better online ordering system. Took them over an hour to deliver two sandwiches less than 1.8 miles away from their location. Got a call after about thirty minutes of waiting saying that they were behind and that my order would be next for delivery. I appreciate the phone call but it should have been done when my order was received so I could have just went and picked it up. Another 45 minutes goes by, I finally see the drivers car and see her go to the wrong house. I flag her down, tell her hey that’s for me, she looks down and looks back up and questions me about my order like I haven’t been waiting. Finally get it open it up and the sandwiches are semi warm. I call the next day and speak to the female owner, I ask for a refund and she kept going on and on with excuses and says I can’t refund you but can give you a discount on your next order which wasn’t up to par with my standards. I put in a complaint with corporate and they handled the situation very well. Stating all my issues were being address and the store would be issuing me a refund. Days go by and I still haven’t heard from the store or seen the refund in my bank. I decide to stop by the store and just get my refund, the female owner was there and explained the situation that I already spoke with her and that I spoke to corporate and they said that you would be issuing a refund and she got very defensive and rude. Telling me again that the system doesn’t know how busy they are and that she can’t give me a refund. I explain I have this long email from corporate saying your store is going to give me my refund and she rudely starts going on about how her store isn’t a corporate store and they aren’t in charge of her store. Read moreThe food is always good and we bring our food home from here quite often. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because our latest visit here, this past week, a young man, I'm angry with myself for not getting his name, was called up from the back to help finish my order. This same young man had helped me before and he was just as pleasant then as he was this time. Very polite and seeming genuinely invested in doing a good job. The gal who originally started helping me really kinda had a "I don't really wanna be here kind of attitude. An older lady came in during my order, I'm assuming she was a manager, and she came across with the same kind of attitude as the first gal. I asked the young man if they had any chocolate chip cookies, as none where out, and he said yes and that he would go get them for me. What really kinda frustrated me is that when he did that, the first gal almost immediately followed him back there with a " What the hell are you doing type of attitude". He told her and she then came back up to the register and said she would take my payment. This young man is pleasant, hard working and seems aimed to please, as he's done when he's helped with my orders before. I'd hate to see him lose that work ethic so young without the proper guidance and support from his superiors. Our other visits here have mostly been just fine, although there always seems to be at least one person who could really care less about being there but unfortunately, that happens everywhere. This last visit though is the one that prompted me to write this review. Help the younger ones grow and build that work ethic. Don't treat them like they don't matter because they are beneath you and that's just really how I felt this young man was treated. Sorry for the super long review. Read moreTerrible, so I usually get a delivery from this place and since my address is right between sugar creek and independence, the system charges me an extra dollar, now I explained it to the employees that it is not far away it's 3.7 miles away from the store, well they were understanding and took that extra charge off. And it's been like that the past two times, now I called to order and the weekend manager was rude and acted like she didn't want to do the work in delivering anything and stuck to the extra dollar, so I asked why is it 4 dollars anyways, and she replied with anything over 4 miles they charge that extra dollar, well I replied with its 3.7 miles away so I'm under that mark and her hard head being un-professional like she was said well anything over 3.5 miles and we round up, then why the hell tell me 4 miles then back track to 3.5 miles and rounding up...
