Went for dinner Saturday night with my wife. Was told it would be 5 minutes to get seated, waited over 45 minutes. Not too big a deal. Waiter brings me the wrong beer, then argues with me like I donât know what beer I drink... until he looks back in his order book and realizes his mistake. Also, no big deal really. Then my steak and shrimp AND my wifeâs fish tacos both had LONG HAIRS IN THEM! Both entrees!! We asked the waiter to box the new food up to go. Then we sat for 20 minutes with empty drinks. He brings new food out with the check, and he forgot the sides to the dinners! So, now we tell him we no longer want the food, we just want a new bill so we can pay for the drinks and appetizer we actually had. The female owner, Marty comes to our table with a mixed drink in her hand that she is drinking. Is very rude and walks away mumbling and throwing her hands in the air. So we head out front to pay the check so we can get out of that dump, and we walk up behind Marty and our waiter at the register printing the new check and listen to her making rude comments about us, not knowing we were right behind her. Then she shoves the bill into my hand and walks away mumbling again, so I loudly said âexcuse meâ? So she turns around and starts drunkenly yelling about how we wasted $100 of food and itâs our fault and to leave and never come back!! Thatâs when the male owner, Rick shows up, also telling us to leave and never return. Believe me when I tell you, they did not have to request that we never go back. We would never step foot in that dump again if it was the last dining option for 100 miles. The place is a dump, our server was trash, and the owners are...
Read moreGreat food, horrible staff, better be dressed nice or will be treated poorly. I've been here a handful of times I love their food and the staff was excellent, was. The last 2 times I have been treated poorly and this one will be my final. Mind you its 90 degrees out it's my girlfriends birthday and we are going to a show later so we're wearing tshirts and shorts both of us are younger but both are very well off just dont dress it as always. I made reservations an hour ahead when we arrived 15min early the host laughed and said well you got more time buddy so we waited. Another couple walks in tells him no reservation and is immediately seated! So we get seated shortly after and order we get our drinks and the waiter disappears for an hour! After waiting an hour another waiter asks is everything alright and I tell them no we've been waiting an hour for our food and we even made reservations an hour early. She immediately scoffs at us and says well my tables have waited 2hrs and so did they so just hold on, so I asked can I just pay for my drinks because we have somewhere to be. She leans in and gets loud " it's been cooked by now, so you have to pay for it, let me check on it " she then comes back and tells me I had them throw it in a bag so you cant eat here and need to leave when it comes out and you pay. Well I payed My bill for the last time and will not be returning, wasnt offered any sort of apology, thanks for your wait just you need to leave when your food...
Read moreFirst time visit and we definitely enjoyed it. We sat outside and, though the patio with pretty hanging lights borders on the parking lot (like too many restaurants'), the location on a high hill looking out over trees and water was unusual and nice. The freeway at the bottom of the hill was ignorable. Our mostly keto diet without alliums (e.g., garlic and onion) can be a challenge, but we had decent success. There was a good variety of cocktail choices which fully listed ingredients, so it was easy to see which hadn't added sugar or simple syrup. We were each able to pick to our tastes and enjoyed them immensely. The side choices included grilled green beans and grilled snap peas. Both choices were seasoned with just salt and pepper, but that was all they needed-- they were perfect. The brisket was available without the BBQ sauce and had a nice smoky flavor, but was trimmed too lean for our diet. We asked for some butter. We choose the flourless chocolate torte and the red velvet créeme brûlée for desserts. The first was our favorite. The latter tasted fine, but didn't evoke red velvet cake for us. With a different name, we would have enjoyed it fine. Service was friendly, patient, and sufficed.
We definitely...
