This is the holy grail of all things donuts. Anyone who says they like donuts must travel near or far to experience this place. It’s a religious experience and has changed my life. Every summer heading to the lake we sit down to consume the holy grail of pastries. Made with unreal mineral rich water, these classically made donuts are overflowing with the sweet nectar of the donut gods. I can vividly remember my first bite thinking to myself, “This is the meaning to life. This is why you exist. To put Tom’s donuts in my mouth.” I have personally met Tom himself and you can see the passion and wisdom in his eyes. He doesn’t just know how to make donuts but he knows how to create a religious experience in your mouth. The closest thing I have ever experienced better than these donuts is the birth of my children and it wasn’t by much. I will spend the remainder of my existence working towards eating these forever. I have been going here every summer for as long as I can remember so 30 years and my family since they opened! I live about 1.25 hours from here and if I'm craving donuts I will drive all the way up (when the budget allows) for donuts because they are by far the best I've ever had anywhere!!! And well worth the drive. I have 5 kids (11 down to 5) and they beg for them everytime we come up. Unfortunately as a single mom of 5 it's not always in the budget but when I can squeeze it I do.
