Casa Grande is a decent Mexican restaurant. I've eaten here for years and is one of my first choices for Mexican in the area.
Pros and cons:
-Food-
Pros: This restaurant has pretty good food. The burritos are my absolute favorite and are very filling. They have good chips and salsa as well. I've never really been dissatisfied with my meal. And I'm pretty satisfied with the price as well.
Cons: Compared to other Mexican restaurants I've been to, the menu isn't that extensive. The food is just good enough. It's not a place you'll be wowed, but is still good.
-Service-
Pros: The service here is usually on point. The servers are professional, efficient, and presentable. I've never had to wait to be sat. I've also never waited very long for my food.
Cons: The servers here don't seem extremely friendly and don't really smile much. I don't think they are meaning to come across as rude, but I think there needs to be more of an effort to be friendly.
-Restaurant-
Pros: The restaurant is in a good location and is usually very clean and presentable. I don't think I've ever seen this place as messy.
Cons: The only issue I have with this place is the lack of space. I don't like feeling shoved up close with other customers.
-Overall Conclusion-
This is a good Mexican restaurant that I suggest to check out if you're in the area. It's nothing super special and something to go out of your way to try, but good enough...
Read moreFor me and my party, the food was just okay. The chips and salsa was okay. The chips were fresh but the salsa tasted of straight tomatoes. The burrito that my party ordered was huge, but lacking flavor. The enchiladas I ordered were also disappointing. I got one of each of the types of enchiladas that they offered and as I tried each, I was hoping that they would get better, but they never did. The refried beans tasted like they came straight from the can. The ground beef and chicken tasted like there was no seasoning added. Sadly, we barely wanted to even take the leftovers home and there was plenty of leftovers. Service was good and the restaurant looked nice. We had high hopes but maybe it was just the time or day that we went. Everyone has off days and I'd like to give this restaurant the benefit...
Read moreIt’s okay .. I’ve never had to order tortillas with my food at a Mexican restaurant before especially with arroz con pollo. Quac= avocado + pico, right? The menu said so too. I was charged for the pico they left out. I’ll probably choose another place next time.
Adding to this .. At checkout she said was everything okay. I stated these things. Showed on the menu where it said how the guac was made. She said I got the one without. Oh.. so smashed avocado is guac now? Okay. I said I wasn’t impressed. She said well we’re not like every other Mexican restaurant. … no ma’am you’re not. Bland, over priced food. Which is something I’ve never had from a Mexican...
