Will have to say I normally rarely do get Jeffâs but itâs normally great. Yesterday morning, however, a friend and I hopped in because he told me the doughnut holes were banger. We bought doughnut holes and I decided to buy half a dozen donuts as well. When getting home, I found out that all the donuts that I bought were super stale and gross. The donut holes were the only thing that was freshly made. The next morning we went in and talked to The same individual who sold us donuts about it. She told me that she was actually in the middle of changing all the donuts out when we walked in and she sold us the old donuts. Was not the best interaction knowing that she willingly sold us old donuts. She said she was sorry but if I wanted the current doughnuts are fresh and I can buy a new half dozen. Told her Iâd pass. UPDATE March 2025: Felt like trying again because in my opinion, the failure was on the employee. And Iâll be honest I do like Jeff donuts. Today I dealt with a different employee and there was extreme poor customer service. There is attitude when I walked in and asked to verify the donuts are fresh. Because of my previous experience with the last employee with the fresh sign on purposely selling me stale donuts. So already the encounter was not the best, with immediate âare you dumbâ attitude followed with a look. She then asked me how many donuts I was getting and I told her one moment I was thinking. I picked out two donuts and apparently said the wrong name which also irritated her for some reason. Told her I was sorry that I thought that those donuts were called a different name. Then she asked me again how many donuts and I said I am thinking and I paused. She was very persistent and irritated that I did not have an answer promptly. She asked 4, 6 or 12. With her constantly pushing for an answer and interrupting my thought, I still waited a moment and said one second (may I add in a nice manner still despite the current treatment). After less than 10 seconds I quickly decide four. Because I was already thinking on just leaving because the attitude. But I really wanted these doughnuts. I then decided on the next two donuts that I wanted and was checked out quickly. She returned to her customer service, non-irritated face and voice and told me to have a good day. Considering I waited 11 months before returning to the shop to see if there was better treatment and no change had been made, is a problem with the employees in the workplace. This is a different employee who had attitude issues and was pushing me to get my answers and get out of her way in the store. Attitude over, calling a donut by the wrong name and walking in and not having an immediate answers to get in and get out I think is a clear behavior issue on the employees part. Asking questions and deciding between many doughnuts should not cause irritation. I would understand if I stood there for five or more minutes trying to decide. But there was constant interaction and I did not spend more than maybe eight minutes inside the store. I really do like these donuts so itâs a real shame that both times I have gone in to the store these past 11 months I am met with terrible customer service. Again, donuts are great, just hope the employees improve. Makes me question why I even tried to get doughnuts here and hoped for better treatment. The only positive out of this was that the doughnuts were actually fresh this time. I would ask for management but itâs clear it would have been met with conflict. And there is no point if the staff attitude failed to change in this...
   Read moreMe and my family went to Jeffâs Doughnuts on morning of traveling. We were all expecting any normal doughnut shop, regular doughnuts vanilla and chocolate. I waited outside with the family while my sister went in. The second she opened the door, the smell of fresh doughnuts filled the air and oh boy did I follow it. I guess it was like a cartoon. But when I followed in the flavors varies from classic chocolate to blueberry and maple. These are my two favorite flavors in the entire universes existence. So oh boy when I saw that there was two pans full of them, I could not be stopped. We bought a dozen for my family of 6. My younger brother usually takes about 10 minutes per doughnut, but not this time. He finished both of his in less 3 minutes and 42 seconds. And it is not because it was small or anything, itâs because it is the best thing we have ate in a while. If they had Michelin stars for doughnuts shops, this one would have 10 stars. We all scarfed our food down before you could even blink. We were all amazed wondering how doughnuts could be so good. I walked my big back back in and ordered 6 more dozens of these amazing pastries, one dozen for each family member. We took it back in the car and it was hard to drive. The aroma of fresh doughnuts filled the air and other cars started following us. Man, I did not know doughnuts could be so good. They were fluffy, big, fresh, and topped amazingly. We went back a month later (when Iâm writing this review) and the shop had expanded on remodeled. We got a bunch more, and they were better than we could ever remember.
Guys, if you are going to get doughnuts, get it from here. I donât care if you live in California, drive yo butt down here and sell this man out. WE LOVE YOU JEFF. ...
   Read moreI have been a fairly regular customer at Jeffâs bakery for the past two years, at the Jeff location and the new one in new Albany. This morning I went in and got donuts for my boyfriend and I and the middle aged white woman working the counter was very cold to me. Not one smile, and walked away before I had even finished signing for my card on the iPad and after I said thank you she didnât even say âbyeâ or âhave a good dayâ. At first I thought âokay maybe sheâs just having a bad day and itâs early, whatever.â But I watched her interact with customers before me and one after I paid while I was walking out and she was SO enthusiastic and sweet to them, asking them questions and being super smiley. Iâm a young woman with a shaved head and facial piercings and I would hate to think that she was so cold and irritable with me just because of my appearance. Every other person thatâs worked there when I come in has been super sweet and nice and it honestly put a huge damper on my morning.
