Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Indiana

Food was EXCELLENT!!! However the person that made my food was very cold, unfriendly, and didn't pay attention to the customer in front of her (me). I had requested that the top of the bread to be hollowed out do to dietary restrictions she looked at me like I had 3 heads and instantly stated that it was a Jimmy Johns thing(competitor). In the middle of making my sandwich she proceeds to stop making my sandwich and starts taking other people's orders that had entered the restaurant she DID NOT bother to change her gloves when she came back to finish food. BTW there was another employee there to take orders. I asked her to change her gloves after she touched the pen to take the other orders, she looked at me rudely and begrudgingly changed her gloves she was very combative in a quiet way. I WILL NOT be back to this location and I will make certain that my friends know to watch out...

The quality of the service and food meets up to Jersey Mike's standard; so if you enjoy Jersey Mike's Subs, you will get the experience you would expect to get from any other restaurant in the chain. The food prep and dining areas are clean and upkept as well as the restrooms.

For those who have not been to Jersey Mike's Subs before, it is like a mix between Jimmy John's and Penn Station. They have hot subs and cold subs. Their bread is fresh baked and their meats and cheeses are sliced to order. The food is ok, but just ok. It tastes good and is a good alternative to the two previously mentioned competitors, however if you are looking for something that blows these other two chains away, keep looking as this is a chain and is not anything out of the ordinary. This was our families first time visiting here and it was phenomenal. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and it had a comfortable atmosphere. I had a hot sandwhich and my husband a cold cut. Both had more meat than what you would get on a Subway Sub. Prices for a Regular size sub are $7.95-$8.95 depending on which one you would order. Adding chips and a drink is $2.99. I got the Big Kahuna and it was HUGE, the amount of steak on that sandwhich was basically double meat at other places. My husband got an Italian Sub and he said everything was fresh and all over very satisfying. We had free sub coupons so it was well worth it to only pay about $6.50 after tax.
