Mancino's Grinders & Pizza — Restaurant in Indiana

We had just arrived at our hotel and were hungry. So, we called this Mancino’s to order a pizza at 8:28pm on a Saturday night 4 days before Christmas. No one would answer the phone. We called again with the same result. Since we were a couple blocks away, we got in the car and drove there. It looked open, the sign said they were open until 9pm, but the door was locked. We noticed some staff peeking out from a doorway at the back of the restaurant. They saw us, refused to open the door and refused to even come out into the main part of the restaurant. So, we got in our car and went across the street to a gas station. As soon as we left, I saw them all walk out of the restaurant and drive away at 8:50pm. They were supposed to be open until 9pm. They lost a sale because they refused to serve us. Their loss was Pizza Hut’s gain. I am shocked at that behavior and wonder if the owner knows what the employees were doing?? If the owner was there, that’s a poor way to run a business. Apparently those employees don’t like to work. I do not...

UPDATE this location has been under me ownership for a few years now, and they have really turned the tables (pun intended)! My husband and I got their calzones last night; mercy, it was soooooo good!! They also make a killer pizza bowl when requested. I asked for their cookie pizza to be slightly under baked, and it was perfection! Added bonus, it was delivered faster than the estimated time. Y'all are wonderful! Thank you for a great meal!

Mozzarella bread sticks were cold when they arrived; cheese was barely melted on the ends. Calzones came out, they were hotter than the breadsticks but they sat in puddles. What's horrible is I love this place and their food, but tonight I received bad service. I called and ask for delivery and who ever I spoke with said they were not delivering. This was at 8 at night, so I said I would come in and get my order. When I got home I didn't get the size grinder I wanted, and I don't think the person on the phone asked me for what size I wanted anyways. I called in and out of curiosity asked what their delivery hours were and told them about my order, and they told me they deliver until 9 on friday and Saturday. I called in at 8 on a Saturday! Like I said I love their food but I won't be back for a while unfortunately. I wonder if there was even a manager on shift. I wouldn't think something like that would happen...
