Updated review. Since I was driving through I decided to stop and see another favorite, this experience was much better, other than yout typical rude drunks which is pretty much at any show. The security guard Bishop was extremely kind and took a few minutes to make one of our friends fighting cancer feel special. (Thank you, you made her night) Didn't even attempt to use the bathroom and I wasn't drinking so can't comment on that. I did add one more star and bought a ticket for a show in February.
Original review.. Drove down from Detroit for one of my favorite bands. While most of the staff was very kind and polite there were quite a few issues. First 2 different bars charged different prices for the exact same drink the first one they charged $6.50 the second one at a different bar was $4.50 wth hell is that? By the end of the night the floor in the ladies bathroom was worse than a porta potty. While watching the show the people next to me were constantly bumping into me. I seriously couldn't even enjoy the show. I asked them to stop and they just got more rude. People were also jumping the barricade between the GA and reserved seating, nobody stopped them. And to top it all off at the end of the very end of the night, some idiot pushed his girlfriend into me as I was talking to some friends almost knocking me to the ground, spilling my drink and continued to push her as she tried to get away from him. Nodody from the venue stepped in til one of our people grabbed a security gaurd. I'm now laying in bed at my hotel with pain in my hip and leg. There are several venues I would road trip to this is not one of them. Such a bad first impression. There definitely needs to be more of a security presence with in the crowd during shows. I will give them major props on the pulled pork...
Read moreCame to see Alan Cooper play. Was advertising that the band would start at 8:45. We got there early to make sure we were able to get a seat. Most of the bar was standing room only. The opening act came out at 8:45, played 5-6 songs and asked if everyone was ready to see Alan Cooper. That was at 9:10. It's now 10:30 and still no Alan Cooper. I'm very disappointed. Why advertise the band starts at 8:45 if they have no intention on starting things while past that time. If I hadn't drove 3 hours to see this concert and bought tickets months ago I'd have left already. I probably wouldn't care as much if the drinks weren't so weak and I had a little buzz but even the drinks were a disappointment. I ordered Captain Morgan and Coke with grenadine and basically got Coke. If there was rum in my drink it wasn't Captain Morgan.
Update: The next morning my husband and I woke up with a horrible hangover. I drink Captain Morgan and Coke all the time and never get a hang over. He always has Jack Daniels and never gets a hangover. That night we each had 3 small drinks spread out over the course of 5 hours with water in between. I'm pretty sure what they gave us was cheap liquor and not what we asked for. That would explain why the drinks didn't...
Read moreNot coming back again. Drive 3 hours to see the Tyler far concert, didnât even get to see him perform. The place was beyond packed and one security guard kept singling me and my wife out every time we would try to stand somewhere he would tell us we couldnât stand there. She has claustrophobic issues and canât be in a big crowd. We was standing where they didnât have any âno standing no sittingâ rules at and he came up and told us we had to leave right after the opener finished so we didnât even get a chance to see Tyler far. We werenât disorderly or anything just honestly trying to see the stage. This was supposed to be a Valentine/anniversary present hence why I drove so far out of our way to give it to her. Moral of the story if youâre going for a concert stay away from here. They have too many dumb rules that apparently if you stand somewhere you donât even know if youâre allowed to you get kicked out. Hopefully the radio station sees this cause I hope they can help out. This place doesnt deserve these people for...
