My experience with Jen, the trailer park manager has been wonderful. She is kind and professional.
Let’s be real here. If you have great credit and tons of money, you’re probably not coming here to look for a place . I moved here following a divorce and had very little credit and very little money. I moved here and was able to purchase a trailer instead of going into the endless pit of rentals .
They let me go through every unit that I was interested in and invited me to have someone inspect it before I bought it . I got a decent vintage trailer with no leaks. The wiring is good. The furnace is good. A couple basic plumbing issues from where the trailer had sat for a while.
I have been treated with kindness, and I truly feel that Jen did everything she could to help me and my son into a home! The older trailers here may not be for everyone. But for us, it has been a blessing.
With a little elbow grease, you can get one of these older homes, very affordably, and turn it into a safe and happy place for you and your kids. Awesome Wayne Township schools. The management team has been steadily improving the park ever since I moved in! I have seen so many positive changes . All you have to do is drive through the park and see all the freshly painted trailers with new windows and improvements .
The maintenance man and the manager both work their self to death helping people. Courteous to the point that they have even bought a lawnmower for residents to use and rent very reasonably ,as a lot of people here don’t have one. They could just be slapping fines on people for not cutting the grass, but instead made it accessible for us to do so. Right after I moved in, they hosted a cookout up by the office with hotdogs and hamburgers, cold drinks, and snacks. They stood out in the heat cooking on a grill and made a nice day and a chance for residents to get to know each other.
I know it’s an old park and I know it’s old trailers but it’s quiet and peaceful and safe. I have a special-needs son and no one has been anything but kind to us and we have had no disturbances since we have been here. If you are starting over or just starting out and don’t have a lot of money, I would recommend this park. Be prepared to get a vintage home that might need a little love. You will be allowed to see it and decide if it’s something you can work with ahead of time!
** the only negative comment I have is that the road that that runs through the park is in very poor condition. That is why only 3 stars. Lots of potholes. The owners of the park absolutely need to take care of it ASAP. That is not something that the manager or the maintenance staff can do ,so my complaint would not be for them, but directed...

Read moreI was in a hurry to get out of my small apartment with my kids. Didn't really drive thru the place before I came to sign the lease. Trailers are really run down. My trailer has holes so all the stray cats around there get into my home. When it rains I have this massive puddle infront where I park. The guy next door just tries to find things to always complain about. I am suppose to have 2 parking spots but because the guy complains so much I only have one. My 2 year old son has therapy weekly. So now I will have to park my car two trailers down just so she can come to visit him. I try to be a quiet neighbor. We stay to ourselves. I work Monday-Friday. So we are not up all night long being loud. He makes it so impossible to live there. Starting to really think about finding a new home. Which is sad the office staff is so nice. And our other neighbor never seems to have any issues with me. It just a hassle to deal with the man next to me. I have seen him watch us out of his window. I find it creep that he sees me leave and come home everyday. Really want to stay and pay my home but dont know if I can deal with the hassle...
