Piezanos Pizza - Rockville — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Worst pizza experience I've had in years! Do not recommend and i will never eat here again. They have decent google reviews so I was excited to try somewhere new. It started with how long it took for a delivery order. Once the order was placed at 5:35, it stated it would be approximately 45 min for delivery. After 55min, i gave a simple call to check in on the order and they said it was just getting out of the oven then would be headed our way. I accepted this answer as I understand online systems may not always be accurate. However, it was 30+ minutes after my first call and the pizza still had not arrived. I called and they stated that the driver had left approximately 15-20 minutes ago. The pizza did not arrive until 7:52 over 2 hours since i placed the order! We only live 7 minutes from this place so it should not have taken so long for the delivery to arrive. On top of waiting hours for the order, it was luke warm at best. We microwaved it so it could be eaten but it was tough like cardboard. We still ate it because our family was hungry to the point of hangry. For the price I paid ($93 because I prepaid for delivery tip) for 2 pizzas, 2 breadsticks, and a cheesy bread, I would not expect such a poor outcome for the food or service. Overall, the experience was poor and I will NEVER...

The good: the workers are very nice.

The bad: The food is terrible but in all fairness it’s had to tell because when I say they flood it with sauce I’m being literal. It’s an absolute sloppy mess to the point where you get super frustrated and don’t want to eat anymore. The next issue is the food is super cheap, like frozen and store bought quality but they don’t add anything fresh ingredients to heighten the flavor, I mean just some fresh garlic and basil can at least make it taste homemade. The meatballs are definitely frozen and everything lacks salt(at least it’s not over salted, I guess). The garlic bread sticks are alright but still lack flavor. What really sums it all up is dessert which the only have a turtle brownie but it takes basically store bought and then they add cheap caramel sauce that seems to be made for coffee drinks( has the cheap alcohol after taste) then adorn with two unsalted pecans that are supposed to be used for baking (they have that waxy uncooked texture).

Because of the staff I really wanted to like this place but to be honest it was a waste. They don’t have any true culinary skill or understanding of the ingredients they...

gave it a try tonight despite the reviews. most places i have been to in indy since moving here 2 months ago i want to keep going cause they are delicious but this i don't believe i will be ordering again. maybe they aren't well known for sandwiches and chicken so maybe that was my fault for ordering it but i ordered spicy chicken sandwich which felt like a chew toy i ordered for my german shepherd so straight to garbage and ordered extra pickle which i don't recommend cause only came with original 1 pickle so paid extra for nothing, wings were okay but super dry but luckily they add alot of sauce which tries to mask how dry they are i guess but could make better ones in my oven at home. delivery was faster than expected and driver was nice so two stars for that. my son had two bites of the fries and then it turned into pb and j night at home all the food was thrown away and out $20 but lesson learned and should sometimes go listen to the reviews...would call but wife is at work with phone so again that part is on me but this needed to be said cause it was a huge...
