Honestly i was so torn on what rating to give this place because in some aspects it's really lacking but in other aspects it's pretty good. But essentially it's a restaurant and i'm going there to eat so this rating is solely based on the food i got today.

Our waitress was very sweet and informative. The menu was A HOT MESS!! Knowing a thing or two about designing i know the dos and don'ts and this menu is the true example of what a menu SHOULD NOT LOOK LIKE!! I was so confused with all the fonts, colors and weird designs in every section of the menu. Who ever designed ur menus needs a real pay cut lol!

Now let's talk about the food! I ordered biscuits and gravy, which came with a side of eggs, 2 meat batty's and potatos. And i ordered a side of french toast with tea. The french toast was great, the gravy was AWFUL!!! and i mean AWFUL AWFUL!! Do u know when u cook something with milk/butter and the milk suddenly separates? That's how it looked. And the taste was sub par! The omelet was okay, i asked for an omlette with tomato, red peppers and green onions, the green onions were not incorporated in the omelet and was raw which i absolutely hate the taste of raw onions. Now the meat patties were horrendous! They were SUPER SUPER SUPER SALTY!!! i was parched after eating! Because everything else had high levels of salt as well! Especially the potatoes too. I could see the salt with my own eyes! This is how much salt it had!!

I'm super super disappointed because i came here due to the high reviews. But def. Was not worth the drive!

Ps. To the social media team! Plz do some effort with ur replies to comments!! Don't just copy paste the same statement "we're so sorry u had this experience, u should've had a better experience bla bla bla!"

Last but not least. Plz do a better job at cleaning the tables outside thoroughly! The table we were on had a crusty egg stain that was between the beehive looking thingies! I couldn't stop looking at it the...

Visiting in Indianapolis this weekend and decided to have brunch for my sisters birthday here at Another Broken Egg Cafe. We had a large party of 7 which all required separate checks. We all ordered our own entrees and decided on 3 mimosa pitchers to share between 6 of our guests (the 7th does not drink). Our server, Andrea, was very kind upon entrance. She introduced herself and then gave us ample time to look at the menu. Our mimosas took about 15 minutes to reach the table, but they tasted great (I had the strawberry). Our food arrived about 15-20 minutes after receiving the mimosas. It’s a Sunday at noon so the timing on things wasn’t an issue. The issue was when the checks came out. When they were initially brought out they were all wrong except 2. We politely explained the correct bills and waited for them to be brought back to us. We waited another 15 minutes to receive the correct checks. Upon receiving, one of our guests (whose check was initially correct) was told that she needed to pay more money even tho her initial bill was correct. This could’ve easily been fixed but there was a clear lack of communication leading the manager to be called to the table. The manager, Bryan, was very sweet and made sure everything was resolved. The real issue and poor customer service was seen when a server who was not involved in our transaction let alone had any interaction with us, found it appropriate to state “there’s no reason to be loud or to be that rude” to another staff, as well as giving us several side eyes and rude looks. This servers name was Jayden. It was one thing for there to be a confusion, but Jayden really just gave this establishment a bad reputation due to her unprofessionalism and inability to mind...

I am an African American who is a Carmel Indiana resident who came into this establishment with my 4 family members. We got a table for 5 and showed our id’s and ordered mimosas. While talking to my family about my mother whom I just buried 3 days the manager Maci which is the daughter of the owner Ryan proceeds to tell me that someone has complained about us smelling like marijuanna and she asked us to leave. She said you can finish your drinks and get your food to go but you can’t stay and eat here. I was offended but I kept my composure and I said that’s fine. The problem here is none of us smoke marijuana so we were asked to leave for? I even spoke to my server whose name is Landon and he even said he didn’t really smell anything. So we came to this restaurant that I eat at on a regular and my family and I who are black were kicked out. This was one of my favorite restaurants until this day. We don’t use drugs and I personally didn’t think we smelled like marijuanna nor did our server. Again I kept my composure and we still ordered our food to go just not to waist the servers time. Our server name was Landon and he is awesome and we tipped him GREAT even though they mad our order to go. We arrived at 12:30 and got our Togo order at 1:13pm and the restaurant closed at 2pm. So basically we got kicked out when we could have stayed and ate and even though wr we’re discriminated against we still did the right thing. Our bill was $140 we tipped well over $40. Oh come to find out the manager Maci personally never even smelled marijuanna she was just going by what a guest said. My family was the only blacks in the restaurant as well. My favorite restaurant has turned into me filing a lawsuit and never...

Visited this location on a very busy Saturday morning. My wife and I were seated after only about a five-minute wait. We ordered two items from the seasonal menu (Blackberry stuffed French toast and Deep South Biscuit Sandwich), and one item from the traditional menu (Blackstone Benedict). The food was delicious! I was a little on the fence about ordering the biscuit sandwich, but it ended up being my favorite item that we ordered. TONS of flavor! The bacon jam and pimento cheese combination with the fried chicken worked very well together. The French Toast was also very good. First time trying the blackberry cream cheese filling, and the butter rum sauce is always good here. Only downside was that it was pretty loud, but any place that serves food this good is bound to be packed on a Saturday morning. Very happy with our visit, and we will definitely return again.
