We found this new place a couple of weeks ago and we made it a point to try it out asap. Our first time here was Friday at 8, surprisingly it was empty. She got a cone of sherbet and I got a cup with a scoop of banana bread pudding and honey roasted peanut butter. Everything was very good and reasonably priced. We'll have to come back when we're in the near southside.

I always pass this place and promised myself that I'm going to try the ice cream. I had banana pudding and butter pecan, walnut flavor had sold out. My gut is extremely sensitive almost everything I eat upset my stomach. Well, I ate this ice cream with zero problems! No disappointments!!!

Ice cream was delicious! Highly recommended for families, kids or anyone that loves some awesome hand dipped ice cream. Bates Ice Cream is a great addition to this up and coming neighborhood.
