The Cookie Labyrinth: The line to the bakery was serpentine, shimmering with the promise of sweet indulgence. I ventured forth, my heart pounding with anticipation. My order was a culinary enigma: apple caramel, brown sugar, and chocolate chip cookies, a trio of flavors that danced in my mind like sugar plums. As I waited, I discovered a hidden gem: strawberry milk. Its pink hue was a siren song, luring me closer. The cookies finally arrived, a delectable quartet, but the wait had been an eternity, even for pre-cooked treats. The bakery was a paradox: pristine and spotless, yet enveloped in a strange, dreamlike disorganization. The strawberry milk, when it finally arrived, was a revelation. Its flavor was a symphony of tart and sweet, a liquid dream. The staff was a study in contrasts. The girl exuded a serene, otherworldly aura, while the boy seemed caught in a perpetual state of chaos, his movements jerky and unpredictable. As I left, I couldn't shake the feeling that I had stumbled upon a secret portal to another dimension. The bakery, with its surreal combination of flavors, inexplicable wait times, and enigmatic staff, was more than just a place to buy cookies. It was a portal to a dream world where the ordinary became extraordinary, and the mundane took on a...
Read moreI recently checked out The Cavity Factory in Indianapolis after seeing a lot of buzz online and on social media. The place has a fun name and a trendy vibe, but overall, my experience was just okay. The cookies look great in photos and definitely have that Instagram appeal, but in terms of flavor and value, they didn’t really live up to the hype.
One thing to note is that they only have whatever cookies they’ve made that day—there’s no set menu, so you’re kind of at the mercy of what’s available when you walk in. That might be fun for some people, but I was hoping for a little more variety or at least the ability to choose from a standard selection.
As for the cookies themselves, they were good but not amazing. They’re rich, sweet, and over-the-top—but honestly, I’ve had better for less money. These are definitely on the pricier side, and while you’re paying for the novelty, I didn’t feel like the quality justified the cost.
It’s worth trying once if you’re curious, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back. More of a gimmick than a go-to dessert...
Read moreWe arrived just before they opened and it was freezing. Dude opened the door to let us stand inside out of the cold. Didn’t have to do that since we chose to line up early, so that was nice. Location is great and they have a small parking lot. You can’t really dine in so be prepared to grab a sack and dip.
Everybody was chill but it got busy QUICK. The cookies were BOMB. We loved the pineapple upside down cake. These rotating flavors are great. I like that everything is updated regularly on their social media, including when they’re getting close to selling out, if they’re busy in that moment, and what flavors are left.
These are not your regular flat cookies. If you’re looking for a traditional crisp cookie, this isn’t it. It’s fat, doughy and the name of the business makes sense now.
I’ve seen folks complain about the price, but these cookies give the same energy as the big names we all love. I’d say they’re better than CrumbL, squash Insomnia by a long shot and are comparable to Dirty Dough… Except I’d rather spend my money at a...
