Just Like Sunday — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Food is always good, however, this delivery was not the best. The food looked like it was picked over then moved around to hide that it was picked over. Or the restaurant ran out of food, or maybe someone new is working snd the don’t know how to layer the food. All of these are horrible excuses to this presentation of food, esp when I live 30min away and pay double the price to have it delivered, literally $30 for fries. As stated food is usually edible, but presentation is just as important as the content. I may not feel that it was picked over due to the horrible presentation if the restaurant took the time to seal the bag with a sticker or staple. The bag was literally twisted closed not...

I tried this spot back when they first opened in Lafayette Square and thought the fries were actually really good! That said, with a name like theirs, I was expecting more traditional soul food—the kind of dishes many of us are used to seeing on a Sunday: greens, fried chicken, fried fish, mac & cheese, yams, meatloaf, etc. Instead, the menu seemed centered around just one main item, prepared a few different ways.

I love giving reviews especially good ones, but this one's not going to be all that swell. My husband has pulled up to this place a couple of times, long waits every time, however, I never had an urge to try his food. But one day he brought some jerk fries home, he always bragging on it so much that I just had to find out what the hype was all about that day, besides the fact I was extremely hungry at that moment. I took 2 bites and it was a no for me. I've had jerk chicken before and this wasn't it.
