Mickey & Bill's Pizza — Restaurant in Indianapolis

My favorite pizza here would be the Taco/Mexican pizza worth EVERY PENNY!

While I can really appreciate the history of this place I can’t look over the customer service I received here...

I had received coupons in the mail that said free breadsticks with the purchase of $20 or more. I was out and about so I called and ordered an Extra Large pepperoni and asked how much my total was, I was told $20 and some change... I explained I had a coupon but was out running errands and had left it at home, they insisted that I bring it with me. So I go home and get the coupon before arriving to pick up my pizza. I pay (without giving my coupon) and while they gathers my order I notice they have the same coupons just sitting on the counter. So now my order is on the counter and I as I hand her the coupon (after already paying) I asked, “why was bringing this coupon with me so important not to mention you have several of them on the counter?” She responded that the coupons on the counter could only be used on my next order... To complicated, I remember being taught as a manager to accept coupons as often as I could, even if they were expired. They explained that the company paid to advertise with this coupon and wanted all the business opportunities it could bring to our service.

So as much as I like this place this nitpicking was just unacceptable and will only return on the rare occasions I crave...

I will never go back. I went on Sat 4/13/19. The young woman took my order and I was very clear. I sat outside while my wings and pizza were fixed. I came in after 20 minute and pizza was brought up, but was told wings would be 4 minutes more. Another man was ordering and they are all laughing and he walks into the cooking area to hang out and chat. I am still waiting on my wings. Finally, over 10 minutes later, I am told they made a mistake and the wings were not dropped. I was told 12 minutes and after 40 minutes of sitting outside, I said forget it, just refund my money for the wings. A manager is called and with the help of the woman who took my order, my money was refunded. I will wait to see if it truly is refunded by Mon. In fairness, they were going to refund everything, but I said I was still taking the pizza and they could still leave the 20%+ tip I added. To add insult to injury, I get the pizza home and it is undercooked and cold. I had to put it in the oven to cook it all the way through. I ordered the pizza once before and it was excellent, but it costs more than the other pizza places. I chose to go there and spend more money to support a non-chain food establishment. My mistake. I will go to a cheaper place for now on. I'm extremely disappointed and advise everyone to go at your own risk. While everyone is nice, I went for pizza and wings,...

My wife ordered the Mars Hill monster pizza,specifically asked For no jalapeño peppers.She paid 33 bucks plus tip.When it Arrived,unknown to her it was loaded with jalapeños.It is not Possible to get them and the juice that is cooked in out.She is Very allergic to them,this made this pizza inedible.She called And was treated very rudely by the female answering the phone,and Was virtually called a liar ,and saying she said no banana peppers. That is rediculous.Oddly enough,it.is also loaded with banana Peppers also.She then asked for the manager,who told her he can Only make them the way they are sent back,and that she was a Manager so he had to take her word.Folks,we have been getting MICKEY AND BILLS for many years.This is totally unacceptable, Both the pizza and the attitude when we tried to get it corrected. Both people she talked to were rude and totally unaware of the Term...CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will be talking to the owner or a manager tomorrow,that cares about their product and service. So sad to get this kind of treatment and attitude from a longterm MARS HILL INSTITUTION. THIS IS AN INSULT TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT HAS SUPPORTED THEM FOR ALL THESE YEARS.
