We made an order on the app for 2 12 piece tender deals. when we got there we noticed the drinks were wrong - it was kind of hard to tell because none of the cups were marked, but there was only one lemonade we had ordered two. We honestly weren't that worried about the drinks. There were 8 drinks for 7 people and more drinks at home, and we didn't want to be jerks about it. The problem was that when we got home and started passing out food, we realized we'd only gotten 12 tenders. Now like I said, the drinks weren't that big a deal, but only getting half the chicken kinda was, so we double checked and made sure we had the rest of the food and called in to ask about it.

Here's the thing - I worked in fast food for years. Mistakes happen. Sometimes the wrong bag gets handed out the drive-through, or things get miscounted, orders get misread, whatever. It can be annoying, but it's not a big deal and I'm sure not going to yell at an employee or write a review over that, because people have yelled at me about that kind of thing before. Hell, people have yelled at me because THEY ordered the wrong thing before.

What I will write a review about, however, is hearing the manager on the other end yelling in the background, telling the employee things like "I packed them up, I know what they got, they're a damned liar!" Like, come on dude. You want me to start a video call and walk around the house pointing at all the food boxes and people's plates so you can count our chicken tendies, I will? Other than that, I don't know what to tell you, because I'm looking at three plates with two tenders each, and 6 more tenders left in the box. ¯(ツ)/¯

I went to a Popeyes for the first time in what feels like 13 years. I wanted to get the famous chicken sandwich that I had heard about on the Food Theory channel on YouTube. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted, which was fine. Everyone looked busy, and I've worked in fast food before. What bothered me was when I was finally greeted, it was by a lady with her back to me. I didn't even know she was talking to me when I realized she said, "someone will be with you shortly." At least look at me and acknowledge I exist. 😅 A few seconds later, the cashier came back up and greeted me properly. I asked if it could be made fresh and was told that the chicken had just come up 5 minutes. That's not fresh. Chicken dried out under those heat lamps quickly, but I didn't complain and said, "That's fine." Why they didn't just make them fresh, I have no clue. Then I went to get a drink, and they only have two options on their machine. The root beer was out. The front of the house was dirty, and stuff hadn't been wiped down in a while. I walked outside to sit in my car to eat my chicken sandwich, and as I thought, it wasn't fresh at all. It wasn't enjoyable. I placed a mobile order thru the app. When we arrived, the drive thru line was extremely long (lobby closed) We waited in line for 20 minutes before getting to the menu and telling them we had a mobile order. Got to the window finally, and the cashier said "$9.80" I explained I was the mobile order and it was roughly $30, which was prepaid She closed the window and we sat there We sat there for at least 10 minutes before she opened the window and just started handing out drinks. (4 total) I asked if I could have a drink carrier, she replied "hold up " She then just hands me one, instead of putting the drinks in. She gave us 3 sprites (I had ordered and already paid for 3 sprites and 1 coke.) When I let her know we were missing a drink, her response was "ain't no coke" 😬😬😳😬😳😳😳😳 She just stared at me like I was the problem. I said, okaayyyyy can I have something else then? I already paid for 4 drinks. She stared at me with her vacant eyes and said "I guess". To not make the ordeal any longer I just requested a 4th Sprite (all of which tasted horrible, like it was out of syrup)
