This is by far the worst experience I’ve had at Starbucks , I ve going to different Starbucks throughout the country and every experience just gets better , how ever, at this location that wasn’t the case.. this is the 3rd going to this location and it just get worst but this morning it was the most rude and uncomfortable experience I’ve had, I get there no one greets me but that’s ok I guess , I was standing for more than 5 minutes at the cashier register just waiting to see if someone at least say “‘I ll be right with you “ no one did , after 5 mins this girl comes and doesn’t even asked me what I want I just assumed she was gonna take my order and I started telling her , for some reason she couldn’t hear me , idk why , anyways idk if she put the wrong order or the people making the order gave the wrong order, there was only 2 other customers and like 3 drive thrus so it wasn’t busy at all. They made me wait around 15-20 mins in the waiting area and it wasn’t until I got up and said something that they actually worked on my orders and guess what ? They just tossed the drink , a watery extra sweet ( idk why it was that sweet) coffee , even tho that wasnt what ive ordered i decided to take it anyways since i was there for so long and i was already irritated , anyways i asked the lady that i wanted whipped cream on my coffee(or that extra sweet browninsh water with a hint of coffee ) her answer was " it has whipped cream it just disolved … are you serious? i just saw u preparing the drink infront of me and you didnt add cream!! jesus christ never again i gave 3 chances to this location after some friends had told me how bad things were at that location but im one that likes to judge based on experience. Read moreI have been going to Starbucks since before they arrived in Indianapolis. One of the reasons is their consistency in providing great lattes, food and service. Today was a great disappointment. I ordered my usual latte (vente vanilla w/ 4 pumps) and a bacon egg and gouda sandwich. The sandwich came up first as the barristas were busy filling "order ahead" orders. Sadly, I'm used to that even though I don't necessarily agree with the practice, especially when there are 10 or more drinks lined up and no one there to pick them up. But, nonetheless, I wait patiently. I note the barrista realizes he has made a mistake with a drink and I fear that ii is mine (the only 4 pump thing). Shortly, thereafter, my drink is complete and I leave. When I get to the car, I open my sandwich to eat on my way to the hospital. It was so overcooked that the cheese was just a hard rock on the bottom and the bread was so tough I could barely bite into it. But no time to go back in or I would be late for a meeting. I had to throw it away, so no breakfast for me. Once at work, I finally get the opportunity to drink my coveted latte only to find that it is not good at all. It smelled and tasted like curdled milk. I had my co-workers smell it and they all agreed it smelled spoiled. My only assumption is the barrista poured part of my drink out, added more milk and resteamed it instead of starting over after his error. The latte also got thrown away. $11 dollars down the drain with no food and no caffeine. Made for a terrible start to the week. Next time I will drive out of my way to go to the Ruth Drive location where they do...
Read moreI give it two stars for my last three visits... They haven't been consistent with my orders. The first time I ordered a "Medicine ball" it was fabulous!! They made it just right... Next two times the drink was not as sweet and made with a different kind of tea. I believe the second time I got the tea they didn't tell me they substituted a tea out for another one. In my third visit the barista tells me they are out of the Jade mint tea so I subbed it for a Minty something and it tasted EXACTLY like the the second drink I had that I didn't like as much. Also, they did NOT steam the lemonade with the tea... I watched as the lady pored the lemonade in the cub after it was made... So much for that... Also, when I pulled up to the window I asked the barista why the increase in price from the last two times I had purchased the drink and she said I paid for the lemonade... Ok, no problem! But then she tried to make it a big deal and went on to say, "my manager is right here and how we rang it up is final. I can't do anything about that." Um, ok... As if I was arguing or said anything about changing the price.🙄 So, I said, "well, I don't care about that... I was just wondering because it was different." And... No comment. Like consistency doesn't matter? I'm not normally one to complain about stuff, but customer service doesn't come easy for many. Some are just there to make their money and go home with as little confrontation as possible. I didn't leave a tip...
