I had the pleasure of experiencing the remarkable culinary offerings of The Grub Hub House restaurant, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a part of the Indy Peace Fellowship Program, we formed a year long partnership with owner LaToya to provide breakfast for the Indy Peace Fellows on a monthly basis. I must say, their commitment to quality and the satisfaction of their customers truly impressed me.
From the moment I entered The Grub Hub House, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who exuded genuine hospitality. The inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home, allowing me to relax and indulge in the delightful breakfast spread prepared by their talented chefs.
The fact that the owners went above and beyond to ensure the seamless delivery of our breakfast further speaks to the exceptional level of service provided by The Grub Hub House. Their personal touch created a sense of camaraderie between our program and the restaurant, making the experience even more special and memorable.
Furthermore, the breakfast provided by The Grub Hub House for the Indy Peace Fellowship program was truly exceptional, leaving the men in our program speechless. Every month, without fail, we were treated to an array of mouthwatering dishes that showcased the team's dedication to creating memorable gastronomic experiences. From perfectly cooked eggs and crisp bacon, fluffy pancakes, and homemade biscuits and gravy, every item displayed the chef's expertise and attention to detail. The quality of ingredients used was evident in every bite, and our taste buds were undoubtedly pleased.
It was not only the delectable food that left a lasting impression on us, but also the genuine care and thoughtfulness shown by LaToya and her team. Their willingness to go the extra mile and accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences was truly remarkable. Whether someone preferred a vegetarian/ vegan dish or had specific allergies, The Grub Hub House made sure that everyone was well-catered to, ensuring a truly inclusive dining experience.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend The Grub Hub House to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience in Indianapolis. LaToya and her passion for her craft, combined with her team's culinary expertise and commitment to exceptional service, truly sets this restaurant apart. Read moreWould give zero stars if I could. I came in as a driver for a food delivery app. I walked in to pick up an order from this restaurant and it turned out that the order they gave me did not exactly match what I was seeing in my mobile app. Therefore, I told them I would have to call in and make sure the order in front of me was correct (which was my job). Immediately, the girl behind the counter giving me the order started telling me in a very rude and aggressive tone that the customer had already called in and they had cleared up the issue. I told her, however, that I still had to call it in because that was what my job required. Meanwhile, there was a girl in the dining area who was cleaning up and started talking to me in the same rude and aggressive tone and I gave her the same stern reply I gave the girl behind the counter. This girl then had the nerve to start questioning my attitude after the way she and her coworker had just talked to me. Outrageous.
Meanwhile, I am stunned at the way I have just been treated and go outside and talk to the driver support team for my delivery app and confirm that the order is correct. When I came back inside, there was a third (older) lady behind the counter (who I assume was a manager or supervisor) yelling very loudly at me that it was not my job to question the order and that my job as a delivery driver was to simply pick up the order and deliver it without asking any questions (which is false). Meanwhile, the support agent is still on the phone with me and listening to her yelling and later confirmed to me that she was in fact wrong and that I was right to call in and confirm the accuracy of the order.
Extremely rude and unpleasant people.
Update to the Owner: Just because I don’t work for you and you don’t work for me, does not give you the right to be rude to me. If other drivers are rude to you, that also does not give you the right to be rude to me. That is because I was not rude to you first. And no I will not take it up with my employer, I will take it up with Google because the public needs to know the way you treat the people who visit your establishment. Your abysmal response to my review (including your failure to take responsibility) as well as your nerve to tell me that I should cancel my pickup and forfeit my pay because YOU were rude to me only serves to reinforce what I said in my review....
Read moreI am sorry to leave this review but I have to be honest. I don't want any food but I wish I could get a refund. The lady at the front was very pleasant so much I left a 5 dollar tip and you all can keep it based off her service. The food however was not good.
The salmon Patties were so nasty I couldn't finish them I have two left and one went in the trash it taste like dog food. The rice had butter but no flavor at all and the hone made potatoes were nasty and taste like ketchup were infused in them. The fish did have flavor but taste like salt only and ran my pressure up sky high. It was not what I was looking for it was so bad I went back out at 10 sum at night to the shrimp hut to get my fish fir my cravings.
I am sorry to say it was much better but I am upset because with me spending money here and at the shrimp hut I spent over 40 dollars just to have a decent fish meal. I would not return it may not be nasty but it is not to my liking but to each their own. Of you are reading this no I don't want another meal I want my money back. Yourself and me can contact my bank and we can correct this issue because I will definitely be in touch with them to see if they will reach out because I know you all will want to argue and...
