First things first, Not a single employee smiled the entire 2 hours we were here. Friday nights are busy at restaurants. It’s nothing new. Can’t handle it? Quit and find something less hectic. Don’t push your attitude onto people trying to enjoy the end of their hard work week and who’s paying your paycheck. It affects not only the customers, but potentially your coworkers and owner who gave you the job in the first place.
Hostess was rude. I asked KINDLY if we could sit somewhere inside instead since it echoes so loud in the back patio (which is far from a patio its a cinder block square room with plastic covering what are supposed to be windows) “well you’re going to be waiting awhile it’s pretty full” after seeing it was a little busy at the time, we went ahead and decided to stay in this “patio” since we wanted to eat ASAP. I waited 3 minutes and went back to the hostess and said we will go ahead and wait because I can’t even hear myself speak, all to find out a table was ready to go for us to sit at as soon as I asked again? 3 minutes is waiting awhile to her I guess. She responded “looks like there’s a table opening now, Wait you guys didn’t grab your menus?” Being a hostess is a mindless job. You greet people with a smile, take them to their seats and barely or never have to deal with them again. You fail at the first step, you’ve failed the customer and everyone else working there. Your initial greeting can make or break a customer enjoying their experience. In this case, you set the tone for 6 of us customers to possibly never return.
Our first Server was rude and didn’t give much of a damn. We weren’t given any silverware when we sat down. He brought the wrong plate, realized this and decided to literally grab the spoon out of my friends hand she was eating with along with the wrong plate he brought. Not an exaggeration. He was luckily replaced with another server who treated us like actual customers and brought silverware 3 minutes after receiving our food.
I appreciate whoever served us after him you did an excellent job cleaning up his mess.
I unfortunately Cannot recommend this place to anyone. Bring hand sanitizer because they don’t have hot water in their...

Read moreI decided to take an impromptu road trip to Louisville, Indiana. While on our way, we stop in Indianapolis for lunch. I searched on Google Maps, "Mexican Restaurant Near Me", and Loco Mexican Restaurant and Cantina popped up as a nearby location with 4.5 star reviews. This was great because I was super hungry!
The menu included different types of tacos, fajitas, and burritos. I was really interested in the enchiladas filled with crab and shrimp; but the waitress informed me it was imitation crab. I sort of figured that when I saw the low price, but had to ask.
Because we were on a roadtrip, and I didn't want to get something that would totally mess up my stomach, I decided to get the steak fajitas. My husband was brave and got the burrito stuffed with chorizo, steak, and chicken with rice and beans.
We enjoyed everything. It's always great to check out a restaurant that you've never heard of and get great food with a nice ambience. That's the best part...
