The Patio — Restaurant in Indianapolis

My wife and I were in the area and wanted something random, reasonably fast, reasonably priced, with dine in. Found this from a random search.

Prices were not terrible for what you got. Wife had rib tips and catfish. I had a chicken gyro combo.

My gyro was pretty much exactly what I expected. Chicken seemed freshly grilled, was not dry, but was bland. The sauce had enough flavor to make the gyro decent. (Not the worst chicken I had at a place like this and definitely not the best sauce but acceptable)

My wife's ribs she said we're not smokey like she hoped. They are likely baked or slow roasted. She said bland but like my gyro, the sauce was where the flavor was. Not the worst but not the best. Again, acceptable.

The catfish was very hot and pleasantly bland. Not strongly fishy or muddy tasting like catfish often is. One time where bland was actually good because they flavor it did have was pretty good.

If we lived in the area we would probably go every so often but since we are not from that area we will likely try something else next time we are around there and...

I give this place 5 stars because I order takeout and delivery (via GrubHub) from The Patio quite often and my food is always good, always hot, and always correct - and the guys that work there are super friendly and sweet! I love the Gyros and Greek salads, tzaziki sauce is yummy and they have big chunks of good feta. I usually get that for my meal with an extra tzaziki, an extra side of feta, and extra pita so that I can have dinner and then lunch the next day. I also enjoy the rib tips basket with Cole Slaw and sometimes I get a grilled ham and cheese. Chicken tenders are also very good. Desserts - chocolate cake and baklava are very good. Service is always fast and very friendly and personable. It's not a "fancy" place but it has become a staple dining spot for me. Great job...

This is a fantastic place to get a quick meal! They have almost every type of cuisine available and everything I've tried has been really good. So I made the mistake of having it delivered via uber eats, but they can deliver themselves for only $2! Best of all, they have a drive thru so instead of going across the street to McDonalds and getting an awful meal (assuming they even give you what you ordered) you can go here instead and get something great that costs less and is faster!

My go to has been the shrimp basket, they have a spicy sauce that's just amazing, and you get a huge order of shrimp, fries, slaw, and garlic toast for under $10! I will one day need to branch out and try other items, but those shrimp are so good I can't...
