Andy's No 4 Burgers — Restaurant in Indio

After a long drive, needed something to eat. Checked for a local burger place and was immediately recommended Andy's. Took a bit to get to and it kind of jumps out at you. It's got a drive thru, out door seating and inside seating, too.

I went inside and it was pretty busy and smelled amazing. The menu has ALOT, but of course I got a cheeseburger combo, with fries and a drink. Didn't ask for a size, so assumed it was one size fits not. I think I was wrong and after sitting down, I found it was.

After a bit, found my Styrofoam cup had a minute hole in it, so it every so slowly leaked. I mention it because that's the first time it's happened to me and I will remember this place for that. Food came and... It was ok. The fries were very bland and even with ketchup, didn't get any reaction from me. 4/10 The burger was good, but again, very bland. It was cooked well and wasn't super greasy but it tasted like the best McDonald's you've ever had, so below most anything above fast food. 5/10.

Overall, very bland in general. Glad I tried it, but don't think I'll be trying them again if I'm back...

I've gone here many times and the staff always give me weird looks. But are redpectful.I will add here that I am a transgender female. Just the other day me and my friend went there for breakfast. He's not used to the stigma and oftentimes mistreatment I have received. And he experienced it first hand. The looks,the snickering. The hushed whispers while pointing. Saying something to a cook he then walks behind the counter and closer to get a look and they giggle. My freind placed the order and they had forgot something and the waitress hadn't come to our table but to deliver the food. I went up to ask for condiments. When my friends order was incomplete he couldn't get the waitress to come and he yelled to the counter and the cook came out and said if we dont like it we could leave. I immediately said let's go. He obviously was getting upset. And my friend was highly upset after the different treatment he received from a place he had frequented many times over the years. Andy's burger is not an LGBT friendly place. Definitely are bothered by transgender people. I /we will never go...

I was able to dine inside and I say that because this place gets BUSY, and for good reason too, they sell GREAT food. At first Walking in, I was expecting a generic "we serve everything" menu, but was pleasantly surprised that, including the general menu items, they had a plethora of unique menu items. I decided to be daring and go with a Habanero Bacon cheeseburger and man was that yummy! Great price compared to a more known fast food place, but the portion sizing is unrivaled. As pictured, they don't sell no cheap July 4th walmart patties, oh no. They prepare a well sized Burger and helping of fries. I got a large soda, incase I couldn't handle the Habanero, and was even more surprised that they had a fountain drink machine WITH flavor shots! Vanilla Cherry Pepsi?? Yes PLEASE. Lastly I finished my meal off with a Pineapple Swirl which was very delicious. Highly recommend this place. Will return again. Recap: great food, fun staff and large...
