PTW Professional Tires and Wheel — Local services in Indio

I have done business with these guys for over a year. NEVER AGAIN… Last week I purchased wheels and had them put them on my truck. Fernando text me with a picture of a chunk missing from the tire bead. They mounted it! I said take it off and replace the tire. He had 5 in stock. He said the tire is old. I bought from him a year ago and only had 10,000 miles. Not old at all. He said he would give to me for his cost. I said it’s not my fault they ruined the tire. He said he would eat the cost but to never come back. Wow! I kinda felt bad and when I got there we negotiated a better price. Well now the front tire was leaking over the weekend. I brought it back Monday morning and the technician put soap on inside bead and it was leaking. The bead had chunks out of it as well. All 4 tires had tears or chunks missing on the bead. The part that needs to be perfect for safety reasons. Fernando said he would hook me up with all 4 new tires but not warranty the original ones I purchased from him. New tires are nice and I thought he’d give me a good deal. Well he charged me $480 per tire. Even had a strait face when he did. I didn’t check price yet. Well retail price is $401. He tried to say that was his cost. He lied. Then I checked the DOT and it was a 2021 tire. Almost 4 years old. After further inspection the tires had some staining in lugs and no the little nubs were not as thick as they should be. He sold me USED tires for $320 over retail. He has cameras everywhere. I asked to see the video of the guy taking the sticker off the tires. He said no. I told him I’m getting tires from somewhere else and bringing them back. Got new tires yesterday. 2024 tires and had the yellow stripe along the tread showing they are brand new. When they installed them they pointed out that the rims were scratched. Brand new rims that Fernando opened from box. He even posted it on his social media. He wouldn’t respond and when I went there this morning to give tires back he said he won’t replace the wheels. He would only paint them. He said the scratches are on the inside and you can’t see them. He takes zero responsibility. The “technician” was taking out old tires and said “I heard they scratched your wheels” HE scratched the wheels. He laughed. Not at all professional and these guys took advantage of me then didn’t take any fault. Don’t trust your life with this place. They will mount bad tires that they damaged...

I was in desperate need for four new 235/45/15 tires for my 2014 Toyota Sienna. I called around the Indio, CA area and this was the only tire store that carried tires of this size. The customer service was incredible! They were extremely friendly, helpful, efficent, and quoted me signifigantly less than other area stores. Also, they were the only shop in the area that had these size tires in stock. Within an hour of my initial phone call to PTW Enterprise, I had 4 brand new tires with an alignment on my vehicle. Thank you so much PTW! You saved a family of 5 from being stranded. We are now safely driving home...

Once again, we are happy to give a great review for PTW! We came back after 4 years and my heart sunk when I was told Fernando was out of town…UNTIL I met Jose who is like a “FERNANDO, JR”!! The outstanding customer service we received was worth more than 5 stars! Every customer we met had the same experience!! We’ve all said in today’s world, you can’t find good customer service…WRONG…WE FOUND IT IN INDIO!!! We highly recommend PTW! Fernando, Jose and TEAM…You guys...
