Tl;Dr The food is damn good

Me and my gf strugglin to decide what to eat.. guest service lady is real sweet, but does not know a word of English, which is cool, I do know a lot of Spanish, but it was very helpful when one of the kitchen dudes came out and very easily dispelled our troubles.

Ambiance is not what you will be going for, the vibe is homeless on the verge of hostility. But hell I am also homeless on the verge of hostility so it's Gucci. The owners looked the other way when my gf fell asleep in our van and we ended up staying the night, on two separate occasions..

On the store side the prices are about the same as a convenient store. I didn't really check the liquor prices. Don't drink too much. Just be riding that white lightnin nahimsayiinn...ya on both occasions, after business hours, I was able to score exactly what I needed for the foreseeable future.

Birra Quesadilla was 12.50ish...

Birria the flavor is terrible. After leaving LA I decided to stop at this place, since all these s** comments say it's a good place to buy food, first of all it's really expensive one "birria" food plate cost me $23 that's already insane. As far as the flavor of the birra yuck it tastes terrible! The meat taste like it is old meat, the flavor is from meat that is either spoiled or not cooked property. I wish I could have listened to my instincts I would have saved myself some money and maybe a stomach pain if it does happen. But I will know where it's coming from. I did not like this food at all. I don't know why The Good ratings on this place. Not to mention that the little small cup of consome does not come with the food plate, it's actually $4.25. for that. This restaurant is attached to a convenience/liquor store. We had trouble deciding what dish we should order at first, only knowing we wanted birria, and with the plethora of options we were overwhelmed! We settled on a 3 quesabirria meal that included veggies as a topping and it was AMAZING! I wanted to go get more but as I had stocked up in the convenience store section I finished my meal with some sweeties instead. I'm going to have to visit this apt once more before I leave town and also as a note I just want to mention that the store side has Arizona tea options I'd never seen before!
