Taqueria Ixtlan — Restaurant in Indio

This is a little taqueria on the east side of Indio that Bard spit out when I asked for a casual Mexican meal in Indio. Went in, basic interior but it was clean and well cared for. Pretty crowded with locals. I got an asada quesadilla and a Pina Agua Fresca for twenty bucks which was fine. The quesadilla was great, the Pina was also good. I was a little bummed that there wasn't any sour cream, guacamole, chips, rice or beans, just a tiny cup of great spicy salsa/hot sauce, but for 20 bucks a little beans and rice or guacamole and sour cream...

We stop by here everytime we go on a visit to Los Angeles from Phoenix. Literally every trip we make a mental note to stop here get some tacos and switch drivers. Really really great tacos, and I'll be honest I haven't had anything else besides tacos and two drinks of agua fresca Pina, bomb AF but if your picky about pulp this isn't the drink for you since it has a fair bit amount but always tasty can really taste the freshness. It's usually pretty busy though, we have to stop for maybe 20 minutes or so? But absolutely worth it to stop by on...

I Cant really remember this place.. I went twice. The first time I went with my family years ago. The second time I went alone for some tacos. The man who helped me was not very friendly. I feel like the food was ok but they have to be friendlier or make the visit more comfortable to make people want to come back.. it was just a plain restaurant with regular workers and ok food.. I hope I can go back and have a better experience worth remembering. Maybe people SMILING AND...
