I STAYED IN ROOM 134 FOR REFERENCE Check in easy. Hard to hear from office window, desk person could be at least welcoming. Paid ahead of time through Expedia, but was asked for card at check in. I assumed for incidentals. But this motel has no incidentals, (no room service, no maid service, not even a telephone) I don't know why it was swiped. No deposit was charged but I will keep my eye on my account. I don't like that there's no receipt for stay, or any paperwork at check out. The room. I wanted a place close to Fantasy Springs. This was the closest next to Quality Inn at 1/2 the price. Weekend for $200 at 3.9 rating, versus 4.0 rating for $250+ a night elsewhere. If I needed more than just a place to sleep, I'd have chosen differently. Bed ok. I woke up well rested, not sore. I hate to mention sometimes these types of places have bugs. My room was free of bed bugs. But I smashed some kind of roach/beetle on the wall. I pull bedspreads from beds at motels/hotels. Especially roadside motels. These here were like old super thin Motel 6 spreads. Had several cigarette burns. (My room was non smoking). Very glad I brought my own pillow. ESPECIALLY glad I brought my own blanket. Removed spread (cannot double as a blanket) beds had nothing but a fitted and top sheet. No blanket. No carpet/rug. TV was old Vizio with DirecTV. But remote only changed channels. To turn on or off or volume up or down I had to use the buttons on the side of the television. The office is not available 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. I didn't have any problems with my room key. I could only imagine the trouble it would be to try to get into the room at night if something went wrong. The bathroom. The outside of the door going in was cracked. Maybe someone locked themselves out? IDC. Fix it. Although it smelled clean it's obvious there's minimal cleaning happening here. The grout on the floor you're best to ignore because of how dirty it is. Yuck. The 2 thin towels are barely enough to wrap your hair in. Like large hand towels. Shower had good pressure but the nozzle had issues. Water got all over the floor because the spray was erratic and the curtain blew from the force of the wind and didnt stay against the tub wall (no magnets). The ceiling is full of spots of mildew or mold painted over with white paint to try to conceal vs repair the broken fan & ventilation issues. One trash can in room and it's in the bathroom. No maid service. I'm curious what would have happened if I asked for more towels. The window has a metal grate so nobody can get in. That's both good and bad. The ice machine had a sign on it that says don't fill up your ice chest. It's not like the rooms had an ice bucket. I tried using it and it gave me three pieces of ice at 8:00 in the morning so why not just say it doesn't work. The website mentions free Wi-Fi. No password was given at check-in. I didn't use it and I didn't ask. I suppose if it was available the desk person would've mentioned it. Wi-Fi with no password to protect its users? No thank you. The smoke detector was off the ceiling and sitting in the wall mount for the iron. No iron. There are racks that look like a closet without the closet. Just racks attached to the wall. No hangers. The fridge was cold. Microwave dirty. I didn't use it. Parking. Very limited and I would not want to park on the street, a HWY. Annoyingly three spaces were taken up by trailers that weren't doing anything there but taking up space. I was lucky to find a spot to where I could keep an eye on my car. Lot well lit and the only reason I felt ok parking it there. It was cheap. I'd stay again maybe

It's a place to lay your head for a night, but expect to much... Ok, the room had one outlet you can use, not near anything useful lol ..the mini fridge was cracked on the door dangerous if you walked passed it not paying attention...the microwave had no plate in it...no iron or ironing board or hangers on the no closet...the bathtub didn't drain well...the room chairs looked like Someone took a hacksaw to them, they were dirty and loose and had burn holes...The pillows and comforter were super thin and i thought there was blood stains on the ac but it was paint... The best part about the room was the awesome paintings on the wall and ceiling, and the toilet paper shaped into a rose haha seriously I've never seen that...The walls were thin and if you listened you could hear conversations outside and next door... The pool looked nice, When I pulled in there were 3 brand new Mercedes Benz in the parking lot but they may have been staged...hahah Like I said I was just there for the night so a place to lay your head for a 100 bucks You get what you pay for...

Clean, cozy and friendly place to spend the night. The room had all the amenities. Bed. Bathroom. TV. And a jacuzzi fun! However. No phone, and the water was cold, had to let management know and the heat was turned up. Our room was closest to the highway. So we heard the traffic passing through. If your in a pinch, and need a room for the night, (with a jacuzzi) then yes; this quintet flash back 70ish style room will do.

TL;DR: Overall very good experience. Cost was cheap especially for the quality of the motel. If you're looking for a simple motel to stay in overnight it is definitely a good alternative to the more expensive hotels in the area.

Payed $70+tax for a single room for one night when my car broke down in Coachella and I needed a place to stay overnight while it was being repaired. The staff were all friendly and helpful although there was a slight language barrier but this definitely wasn't a problem. Motel included cable HD television with a decent selection of stations, free Wifi which I was able to stream on without a problem, a pool (did not use as it was cold but it looked clean), a mini fridge, etc. The room was very clean and I did not see any bugs in the room. The room had a wall painted with a beautiful mural and the ceiling had a lovely cloud painting on it which made the room felt very cozy for a motel in the middle of the desert. The bathroom was very clean and the shower had hot water that warmed quickly. Parking was available for free although I did not use it as my car was being repaired. The motel was located near a few casual food establishments and there were pizza shops which delivered to the motel. I had no noise complaints from the motel itself although the location caused a few noise concerns.

A few concerns were the motel was right off a busy road which was pretty loud into the night. There are also train tracks across the street so there were a few loud trains passing by throughout the night but this wasn't a big problem for me and it isn't something the motel has control over obviously. One of the bedside lights was missing a bulb and the room had a phone but it had no cord to connect it to the outlet (but I mean who uses landlines anymore right?). The room was a bit cold overnight but it had a climate control unit which warmed the room well overnight.

I am not particularly picky about motels so if you're looking for a simple but still good quality place to spend the night I would definitely recommend this location rather than paying over twice as much for other hotels...

One night only, gave me a headache.||One overhead light only in room; one fixture next to bed on one side, but no bulb or lightin/from that.||Bathroom light had fan option only- no "sneaking in" there during the night. ||No hot water as far as I could tell. I endured a cold spritz only in the cold morning. ||THis hotel seemed safe. Temperature was pleasant. I didn't use any temperature modifiers. Tobacco free.||Close to my destination of Joshua Tree National Park.||Pleasantly indifferent managers.||Seemed fairly clean, but couldn't really tell. Bed was clean, no bugs of any kind.||Bed seemed fairly new- no lumps. Too firm for me, but not bad. ||Parking lot mostly torn up. Lots of dust from that.||I was charged "regular" rates for this room with some poor conditions. I should have made an internet arrangement before arriving in Indio, CA. This place was showing 4 stars when I looked on Expedia! I'd give it 2 stars at most, based on my experience.||Riverside Fair going on. ||Freight trains going by but across the road.||Loud people outside at 3 AM for a while.A||At least nobody was above me. ||Managers pleasant and relaxed.||Next time, I would try a...
