Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Indio

The Indio, CA Pizza Hut on Monroe and Hwy 111 is by far the worst restaurant on every level, that I have ever been to. When we came in, every table was dirty. Most of them had not been bussed, but the ones that had still had not been wiped down so they had food, grease, etc on them. The floor was also littered. We should have left after seeing that, but we wanted to try the wings--just to see if they were good.

We ordered 2 of the 8 piece bone in wing street wings. Both orders had a ton too much breading, the meat had large amounts of fats and gristle, and basically the little chicken that was on the bones was just mush. Very unappetizing and we were very disappointed. When I talked to first our server and then the supervisor, she said "that's how we get them and we dont do nothing to them". She wouldnt even refund our money even though we only ate 4 of the 16 wings and threw the rest away! Before I left, I visited the bathroom. It was also disgusting and even had large graffiti spraypainted on the walls. Classy!!

We also saw a salad bar there (which was disgusting by the way and had food dribbled everywhere including the floor, croutons strewn about, sunflower seeds all over--just dirty). Anyway, nowhere on the dirty old menus could we find mention of a salad bar. I assume you can purchase a salad bar but not that we could see. There is also no menu over the ordering counter so not sure how people come in and get orders to go either. Finally there were old tables all stacked up in the corner of one of the rooms.

This was one amazing experience to see how far the interior of this restaurant has been let go. Pretty much everything in the books on "How not to have your restaurant" but all in one place!! By the way, it also felt like the Air Conditioning was out and I would say it was over 80 degrees. Most people were fanning themselves and I heard a few talking about how hot is was so it wasnt just my wife and I. It was our first time there and the experience was so horrific, I doubt we will ever visit another Pizza Hut, anywhere.

Finally, I emailed the restaurant and Pizza Hut customer service to let them know of these conditions. I never heard back from the restaurant, and only got an auto reply from customer service after giving them 1 month to respond. Pizza Hut shows total indifference to its customers concerns and I would warn all who might visit there to...

I really hate the service, I stopped going to the restaurant long time ago for that reason and started ordering on-line, which it was ok but today I ordered at 2:50 and they promised my order at 3:41 it's 4:13 and haven't received anything I have been calling since 3:45 and the automatic system gives you 2 choices 1 to order or 2 to check the status of your order or cancel it. Obviously I choose #2 the phone keeps ringing and ringing and nobody answers, so I choose #1, a woman told me that she need it to transfer me to the right pizza hut (I called to that location's number) because apparently they have no orders under my name, by the end I just hear a machine saying this location is currently closed, please call back during business hours, this is BS** I can't check on the status or even cancel the freaking order with this stupid company, Before I was buying pizza from Pizza Hut more than 4 times a week Their service sucks no matter the location of the store, they are mean, and unhelpful, I once went to one of their stores with a friend who likes to speak in Spanish and the freaking ugly woman thought we don't knew English she started making comments about us in English to her surprise I just answered "Yeah to bad you have the worse body without the pizza plus your face hurt the business I will never hire you to be in front of a store, she got embarrassed and went to the back and never came back. Neither my friend or I look bad. I think Pizza Hut should change their People, they are so incompetent...

Horrible...just HORRIBLE!!! I ordered online at 5:01pm was sent an email that my order would be delivered at 6pm. I clicked on the tracker at 6:05 it said "we are making your pizza" and the delivery time was now 7:01pm. I called and after being on hold was disconnected. Given that it was Valentine's Day and a very rainy day I said "I'm not going to call back just be patient and wait. So I did...only to get a knock on the door by the delivery guy saying "I'm sorry we are slammed do you still want it?" We said no worries got to the table and opened the boxes to find cold, dry, but pizza not to mention I paid extra for extra cheese and extra pepperoni which was not added to my pizza. Because it was Valentine's Day I ordered a heart heart shaped pizza and that was not delivered either. I called to only be connected to a call center full of asians who dont speak english and am told they will call the store and guess what..yup...disconnected! Go down their to get fresh pizza and walk out with a refund...why? Because this place is filthy, the staff is rude, doesnt acknowledge anyone who walks in. It took 15min for a manger to come out in which it wasnt even a manager. Precious tells me she's a manager but doesnt know how to use the register to refund me nor to find out who the driver was. Do Not Order from this place or you may find dead skin or hair in the box which was being made by an employee laying her forearms across the inside of the box as she was folding them....
