Wow! Thai Hot Restaurant in Indio is an absolute gem that I can't recommend highly enough. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine welcome. The staff here is incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. They even held the door open for us as we arrived, which set the tone for the exceptional service we received throughout our meal.
Peter, in particular, provided exceptional service. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was extraordinary. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made us feel like valued guests from start to finish.
The menu is beautifully presented, with vibrant pictures that make it so easy to decide what to order. Each dish looks as good as it tastes, and the flavors are out of this world.
The food is absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic Thai flavors that transported us straight to Thailand. We tried a variety of dishes, and every single one was a delight.
What really sets Thai Hot apart is the gentle and caring service. The staff made sure we were well attended to, refilling our drinks promptly and checking in just the right amount to ensure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.

Read moreWe ordered an appetizer and three entrees and all were delicious. For starters we ordered the Northern Thai style herb sausage. By itself it was wonderful but it came with a fresh ginger dipping sauce that was incredibly good. Thom yum fried rice with added beef shank was quite good. The duck noodle soup was very good. We requested that at a spice level of 5 (the hottest). At a lesser restaurant all you would taste is the added chilli masking all the other flavors, but this dish was amazingly well balanced. A very nice kick but not stupid hot, and all the other flavors shone as well. The star of the show was the pumpkin curry with duck. What a delight. Just wow. Excellent. Regardless of the dish, if you're undecided on a protein selection, I highly recommend the duck. I look forward to trying so many of the other items on the menu. Also, try the fresh coconut juice. Mine came in the coconut itself, so in addition to the drink I had fun scraping the coconut meat from the shell and eating that too. What a treat. For an unassuming storefront in a strip mall, this restaurant is the perfect example of not judging a book by its cover. No flash or bling, but they've got it where it counts. On the table in front of you. Far better than the standard issue Thai restaurant. Generous portions at reasonable prices and boy is it good. I just wish I had...
Read moreWhat is there really to say about THAI HOT? I was drawn to the delectable image of the red curry on Postmates, where my girlfriend and I were painfully looking for somewhere to order dinner. We landed on the red curry and the pad Thai, and anxiously sat by the window like two teenagers on Christmas morning. The red curry was DEEPLY flavorful, IMPOSSIBLY light, and UNMISTAKABLY tender. The vegetables were artfully decided and bursting with flavor. As an LA native, I was beside myself that I was so drawn to this humble take out operation. I simply have never had Thai curry like this. The pad Thai felt authentic and light, while packing a major flavor punch. Huge kudos to THAI HOT for not lazily throwing in peanut butter. We also got the floral limeade drink, which, though bizarre to my palate, paired harmoniously with the food in a real and refreshing way. To put it simply, THAI HOT is a DIAMOND in the rough and I would be LUCKY to...
