First of all this place is on a dead end road. Was cool getting there even though I thought it was the wrong area at first. The people are very nice. I asked for some shrimp from the market to be set aside for me to pick up at the food truck and they had it in the freezer. I was a little disappointed in the food though. The blackened shrimp, though perfectly seasoned were a tad over done, that's fine but the rice and beans really had no flavor. The coleslaw was not overly dressed which I appreciated. I would love to come back and hang out for a spell and check out the market myself. The royal reds I got were out of this world.

We believe in supporting local businesses, so we come here frequently. The food and service are absolutely incredible. I had the fried grouper sandwich this time, and my wife and son had grouper bites and filet with fries. So delicious and fresh. The fries are thin cut and amazing. I recommend stopping by and enjoying your meal right next to the Withlacoochie Rivir. Also, make sure you check out the fish market. So fresh.

Amazing food, from an authentic source. The grouper and fries are amazing. During our time on vacation in FL we stopped there twice because we loved it so much. We will return for sure on our next journey south!

My wife and I started diving in Crystal River over a year ago and checked out brooks the first time we visited. We have been back three times since and will always visit brooks. They do everything right and have an amazing menu and specials. The service is always top notch. We will be back this summer and cannot wait to check out whatever...
