I’m not one for leaving poor reviews but the customer service I received at this Subway deserves mention so they can retrain this young lady. While we all know that the customer may not ALWAYS be right there are times when good customer service can put out a fire. So with that being said, it was a Thursday night (5/9 or 5/16) after work, about 4:30pm that my 2 granddaughters and I stopped in to get a quick dinner. 4 foot long subs and a couple of foot long cookies. 2 of the sandwiches were hot ones and the other 2 had a hot piece of chicken. As a young man started making our sandwiches, I stepped over to the cashier to pay. I wanted the sandwiches as they were suggested being per the menu, so there was no further instruction needed. As I ran my debt card through, it came back declined. She told me it was declined, so I ran it through again. Still declined. I said that there must be something wrong with the machine and she told me that their internet had been working on and off. I tried another card, just in case it was actually my card for some reason, a credit card this time and it, too, was declined. So I told her that I didn’t have enough cash on me and I didn’t know what to do. Her snarky reply was, “well we can’t give you the sandwiches without you paying for them”. I knew this but I thought maybe she’d go into the office and maybe reboot her WiFi or something. There was no sign stating they were having internet issues or “internet issues, cash only”. So I replied, “I understand that, I wasn’t expecting them for free. I’ll go get some cash”, as there’s a bank with an ATM right next door. So I left and went and got the cash. When I returned, there were two people in front of me, so I waited. Once I got to the cashier, I repeated my order to her. The man grabbed my stacked up sandwiches from the back counter and proceeded to make them. I asked if they were going to heat them up as they were hot sandwiches. I was told that they were already partially made, so I asked if they could at least heat up the meat. While the man making the sandwiches asked me if I’d like the sandwiches remade, the cashier promptly said at the same time “do you expect us to remake your sandwiches?” To which I replied, “No” and picked up my money and turned to leave. As I was leaving, she told her coworkers that they could eat the sandwiches and then told me to “have a nice day”. Whether I was right for asking for corrected sandwiches or wrong, she didn’t need to be so short and rude. Nor did she need to tell me as a little dig, to “have a nice day”, when it was quite apparent that I wasn’t going to now that I didn’t have dinner for my grandkids and I’d have to go get it from someplace else! Get rid of the attitude and try to remember who’s really...
Read moreThe lettuce is brown and when you ask for the fresher you get an attitude. Hey, I didn't ask you to get me new cheese when you scraped it from the side of the pan and then proceeded to also put the tiny triangle pieces you ripped off on there too. All mush. Tomato slices with the core are nasty too. And when THEY make a mistake, it's your fault for being a little upset that your account is now being charged 3 Times the amount of the one lunch you got... Oh and then I was the rude one that needed to leave?? I'm so confused. How do you charge someone's account Double and then refund the whole amount without saying Sorry and that it will be up to 7 days for return? And how about we just refund Half of the original charged amount? Rude? No, I was being direct with my comments being that the employee was not informative nor informing their customer. Whoever that girl was needs to go. And yes We The Customers are there for a Fresh Sub Sandwich. Not Brown lettuce and mushy cheese. If the job is not the right fit there are Plenty out there. And no I don't want free food. I'm there to Pay for Fresh food. $12.50 for a Fresh, not toasted, sandwich with chips and...
Read moreOrdered online for the first time from this restaurant tonight. I ordered a Subway Melt wrap (turkey, ham, bacon) and got a Subway Club wrap (turkey, ham, roast beef). I got home, realized the mistake, and called right away. I was told that my only option was to bring back the wrap due to some inventory procedure that had to happen. I could not be sent a gift certificate for the item I ordered. I have never heard of this. Every other restaurant (chain or local) has sent me a gift certificate or taken my name for the next time I come in. The employee I talked to also told me, twice, that the item I was mistakenly given was a better deal than the item I ordered. That was very rude to say to a customer and made me very upset. I don't care what the better deal is, it's not what I ordered! Not going to this...
