This place is everything. It stands for (and embodies) everything that a world-class coffee roaster and cafe strives to be.
They are the tops when it comes to incredible service, delicious coffee, and a lot of variety. The barista was so friendly and helpful in guiding us towards options that delighted us. We planned on getting our drinks to go so we could continue our road trip, but we were so drawn to the atmosphere that we stayed for an hour to enjoy our drinks, chat with the barista and locals, and savor each moment here.
We had a Guatemalan pour over coffee and Lake Superior Fog (rooibos tea latte with maple syrup) made with oat milk. The coffee wasnāt bitter or too acidic and the barista recommended it when we were torn between two choices. The Lake Superior Fog was one the most unique, surprising, and remarkable drinks Iāve ever had. Iāve a feeling Iāll spend a lot of time trying to replicate this drink. Heaven!!
Oh, and the pastries are sooooo good. Splurge on the muffins and monster...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't leave reviews because it's a waste of time to me since half the time the people don't even see it and never change but they have changed this coffee shop SO much that I don't even want to step foot in there anymore because everytime I do it's something else and I knew Matt personally so I can full heartedly say that ever since he left it has gone completely to cow dung. They burn the beans so the coffee is not worth what they price it at and The manager Marsha or whatever her name is has no clue what she's doing plus all the people that work there now are rude and unwelcoming. Don't get me started on the newest assistant manager Angela, she's a whole different breed in general. Very sad that they ruined such a nice place. Definitely NOTHING like...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I were in your Ironwood store on 8/24 just before closing (I am the guy that forgot my glasses). We had a coffee and a hot chocolate while in the store and left with a bag of the Marcala from Honduras whole bean coffee. I was told that it is very new and said I would provide a review for you so this is it.
While the coffee that we had in-store was good, a dark roast, the Honduran in my opinion is mediocre. It was not bad although I did taste a very short-lived bitterness immediately after each swallow. That being said I was pleased to find your locations in both Ironwood and Iron River and look forward to our next trip to the UP for another sample of your varied brews.
Best regards, Tom...
