Frisch's Big Boy is a name well-known across fast food branding. They have a great buffet inside, and before Covid happened, had friendly wait staff. The food itself, is good, when it's right. I have been there maybe 3 times in the past 5-6 months, and there has been a 100% failure rate both on Doordash and myself picking it up. I recently seen the business has been off of Doordash, which is fine. This is a small town, and it's easily accessible anytime you want it, it's right behind (or in front of, depending on which way you're coming.) the new Little Cesar's in town. It literally doesn't matter what time of day I pick up, got my food delivered when it was accessible that way, it was ALWAYS wrong, haha, do the same people who work at Taco Bell also work at This place? LOL :p Anyway. The food is Great, roll the dice when you ask for anything but a standard Big Boy Sandwich, or any of their standard options. Staff is friendly, Pies are Delish. Update: I will not be returning here. After the grand re-opening, I went another doordash order in, plain as day, add cheese, add ketchup, no pickles, no tartar sauce, no lettuce. Yet another failed order. I've wasted so much money here, them constantly messing up my order. I'm literally trying to save you a few cents by putting less on my burger! Too bad they have such good burgers, but oh well.

I had high hopes for this location, the meat is hollow, REALLY FLAT, they have cut their sizes over the years, create your own salad gives you the option, but equally rounds to 8 like the other salads, bacon bits are overcooked, and in balls, I'm pretty sure the bits part was miscommunicated. They forget alot of things. Ordering is a guarantee at least something is forgotten, our server, Lyndsey, was told by us that we would like water with no lemon, and it was a clear statement from us all. My water had lemon, (like I said, clear statement repeated by us all "no lemon") it was taken back, and brought back without lemon, I tasted lemon, meaning just the lemons were taken out, got a fresh no lemon water. Overall, the only thing really keeping their google rating alive is before two months ago. They've slacked since, and cut back their portions. (Sorry my salad picture is blurry in advance)

Everyone in our office ordered lunch. When someone from our office went to pick it up they refused to take separate payments. Not only that they forgot 2 items. Our office mate noticed it when she stopped to check before she got to the office. Two of us got a "slim jim" based off the picture online, and it's disgusting and inedible. Bread was slimy. Our drinks came with no ice or at least melted ice from how long we had to wait for it. When she went back she spoke to the manager who just said sorry for your wait and that was it.

Deeply Disappointed – A Far Cry from What Big Boy Should Represent

My team and I stopped at Fischer's Big Boy after a long morning of filming on a work-related trip, hoping to grab a decent meal and rest. Unfortunately, what we experienced was far from acceptable.

The atmosphere was lifeless—like walking into a funeral home. There was no music, no energy, and nothing to create a welcoming environment. The salad bar was in poor condition, appearing dirty and clearly not being maintained.

From the start, the staff showed little to no interest in their jobs. Orders were incorrect—one of us asked for a turkey sandwich and received ham instead. The food was served lukewarm, clearly having sat out too long, and in some cases, microwaved to bring it back to temperature.

Dishes and silverware were not clean, and that was only the beginning. We witnessed employees lounging around, with one cook even hitting a vape while on the job—completely unacceptable for a food establishment.

To make matters worse, foreign residue was found in two separate drinks—the second one even after requesting a fresh one. It appeared to be leftover food particles, which is deeply concerning.

One of our team members has a serious dairy allergy, and we made that very clear. Despite this, their plate had visible traces of cheese on it, an error that could have led to a medical emergency.

Across the board, the food was bland, with the exception of fried items—which still weren’t enjoyable due to clearly old fryer oil. The mac and cheese tasted slightly sour, as if the cheese had begun to turn.

When we voiced these concerns, staff attempted to address them, but it was done slowly and with little care or urgency. It felt more like a formality than genuine customer service.

We, and my company, will never be returning. This location is an embarrassment to the Big Boy franchise, and it’s clear that standards—both in food and professionalism—have fallen off a cliff.

This experience has been reported to the local...

On a whim my husband and I stopped here for lunch on a Friday. There were at most 8 customers in the restaurant but we still waited nearly 5 minutes to be seated; no big deal. Ordered our food which was mediocre at best. The patty on my husband's burger was approximately as thick as the meat on a small hamburger at McDonald's but still cost $6! Wouldn't have minded the price if the quality had been there but it definitely wasn't. Almost $30 and my husband got water but we still weren't complaining because we expect to pay when we go out. Our true complaint was the attitudes of the staff! The most hateful, unfriendly women I've ever seen in one place. The lady who walked us to our dirty table was annoyed she had to do her job, the waitress was just ready to get rid of us even though we never complained once and tried to be friendly and when we went to the counter to pay, we waited another 5 minutes for someone to check us out. I could have understood if they were busy but they definitely weren't. We still tipped 20% because that's who we are but we will not...
