Disclaimer: My review of this store is based on my experience visiting this store for their collaboration with Tears of Themis.
That said, in short, the management of this store demonstrated severely poor planning for the collaboration event, and stock for Day 1 (out of 3) ran out three hours after opening at 11 AM. For anyone planning to participate in this collaboration event, or any other collaboration event in the future: you will likely have to arrive early enough and wait in line for multiple hours BEFORE the store even opens if you want to be able to buy collaboration stock -- management clearly cannot plan appropriately to make their daily stock last long enough into the day. Though they knew ahead of time that their collaboration stock was limited, they also lacked the foresight to implement a ticketing system to ensure people don't waste their time waiting in line for stock that will not be available by the time it's their turn to purchase. If stock runs out before it is your turn to purchase, you will have nothing to show for your time spent waiting in line -- if you still want the items from their "in-store surprise events," you will simply have to purchase other Melo Melo desserts instead, because you will be unable to participate at all UNLESS you make a purchase.
By contrast, when Tears of Themis did a collaboration with Milk+T, though they also had limited stock, store management implemented a system to ensure that visitors would be able to eventually receive the giveaway items that were available with a purchase once initial stock ran out. They also did not require a purchase to be eligible to receive a postcard that was exclusive to the collaboration event. In comparison, the fact that Melo Melo requires a purchase to even get a postcard shows that the store is nickel-and-diming customers, and their overall complete lack of consideration for those whose time in line was ultimately wasted, is, in my opinion, extremely poor customer service.
TL;DR don't bother giving your business to Melo Melo when they do a collaboration event with a franchise you're a fan of, not unless you're prepared to get to the store as...

They came out with a new item so I had to scoop it up! Salted Egg Pumpkin Coconut?!!! Ugh I love salted egg yolk flavor. And the pumpkin… uh hello?!! Talk about a tasty idea for the fall season! You can get it in a jar.. or… their Meloween which is in AN ACTUAL PUMPKIN!!! So cute!!!!
3 layers of mouthwatering textures! • Salted egg yolk (Reminds me of the center of a moon cake.. The best part!!!) • Signature coconut jelly (Mouthwatering! Just silk smooth and melts in your mouth) • Pumpkin purée (Smooth and not too thick and you can really taste the pumpkin)
First time trying a savory dessert from them.. and the lightly sweet and lightly saltiness it just.. WORKS! A flavor and texture blast in your mouth! For all you salted egg yolk lovers and pumpkin lovers out there… TRY THIS!!!

Read moreI grew up in a tropical country and coconut is staple in our dishes. You can actually taste the difference between a young and an older coconut. For me, I can definitely taste that Melo-melo uses the best, young, and fresh coconut to make their products. I don’t mind paying knowing the quality is good. Others pay for good steaks, I pay for good coconut.
I have been a patron of Melo Melo for quite a while and I do have my favorites. I also like the fact that the containers are made out of glass that you can recycle and get rewarded for. For every 10 jars returned (clean of course) you get 1 free melo-melo.
Recently, Melo Melo launched their Greek Yogurt Series and I got the chance to try them. I am not a big yogurt fan however, theirs is an exemption. I got to try the Strawberry Peach Gum and Stravocado Almond. Everything is freshly made in-house with simple and healthy ingredients. Not to mention, I am not an avocado fan either but, this is an avocado mixed dessert that I actually love! It’s my favorite amongst the two. I am definitely adding this to my pick-up list and...
