The worst service experience I have never had before!!!! Tonight, I was going to Thai Chi to buy their Wonton soup which was today's special dish offer. When I gave them my credit card to pay the order, the male cashier Wang said: " We do NOT accept credit cards under $20, especially your order is a dinner special." What!? Why was I DISCRIMINATED against because of ordering a dinner special and pay by credit card??????? Then, I went to check my purse if I had enough cash, but I did not find any. So, I told them I did not have cash, and when your restaurant posted menu in group, you guys did not mention do not accept credit card under $ 20 anywhere, even in the front desk of the restaurant, there is nowhere customers can find this notice.Unfortunately, this cashier Huang did not explain anything to me. Instead, he said Impatiently and Rude: " It is COMMON SENSE in American like you go to the 99 Ranch market, they won't accept, either." What the Heck!? Then, he started to service other customers who were behind me and just IGNORED me. After I stood there embarrassed about 3 mins, he asked me to transfer the amount to his BOA account by Zelle. Finally, I got my food which was needed to bring to church. Actually, I hate spreading negative inform and rarely give a bad review. However, the cashier in Thaichi made it! Good job cashier Wang! (1) If you think people who order today's special dish are cheap, no cash in pocket and have to pay by credit card even under $20, please mention it early or do not offer today's special, I won't be angry (2) If you are afraid the bank will charge your boss the transaction fee by using a credit card, I am willing to pay that several cents for my order. Customers going to your restaurant is for service and pay for it, not for...
Read moreThis is a cute little place, reminds of a fancy Chinese restaurant in France when you walked in. It took the servers a little bit to seat us even though there were empty tables and when we were seated, it seemed like they forgot about us because I had to wave the server down to take our order. But when they finally took our ordered, the food came out quickly! The only other problem was they didn't have ice. I don't know if they had a broken ice maker or just never served ice. None of our waters or paid drinks had ice. No bueno on a hot day!
We ordered: Duck Pot, added glass noodles, Rib eye beef and a fried egg. The flavors were to die for. It's a spicy dish so it's not for everyone. Adding the glass noodles made it even better!
Doughnut stick, we dipped this into the Duck Pot, Chinese Doughnut sticks are the best, you can eat it by itself or dip it into anything!
House Crepe added sausage, very unique crepe, not what I expected. Outside is a layer of egg with green onions, inside has something crunchy and we added sausage which turned out to be a hot dog. Still tasty!
Shrimp/Pork Dumplings, very homemade. The skin was not thick, it did not over power the dumpling, shrimp and pork ration was even and when you bite in you get a squirt of broth, reminds me of mom's!
Beef Fried Rice, not oily, perfectly cooked, did not need to add soy sauce.
Honestly in the end, if the food is good, they deserve a...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped in for breakfast. It was crowded and a little busy but we were able to get a table right away right next to the area where they make the crepes and pancakes. Since this was our first time there, the waitress took the time to explain menu items and how ordering worked.
The food came out in a timely manner despite how steadily busy they were. We ordered a basic "pancake" type dish that was almost like a crepe. At the waitresses advice we opted to go simple to see if we liked it, mind you, you can upgrade and stuff this thing with many different types of veggies and meats. It was VERY tasty despite just being thier basic one. Portions were on point too and more than enough as a starter for us. We also ordered a roasted pork appetizer that was amazing! It was just a small portion of a tender, moist, and tasty dish. It came with a soy-based dipping sauce that made it even better! As our main dish, my wife and I decided to share a spicy Beef Innards soup. It had your more exotic type meats and beef parts, ie tripe, tendon, etc...It also had glass noodles, but the best part was the spicy and flavorful broth. WOW! So good! They bowl was more than enough for the both of us to share.
Prices were decent A good deal for great food. We recommend this place and we...
