This place blew my mind! Everything about their creations here is immaculate and imaginative, and make their displays beautifully aesthetic and enticing. Being a bread lover of many varieties, I felt like a kid in a candy store as I browsed each and every individual goodie they had to offer. I liked the way the ingredients are listed on each display window, and was pleased to see that the simplest, natural ingredients are used with unique blends of herbs, teas, even tubers and veggies infused or lightly topped on these tasty delights! Yum!. The store is very clean and sterile looking but warm and inviting as well. There are tongs for your own individual use (not shared) to pick your selections with and you turn them in to the staff when you pay at the register. There are trays, and sheets of paraffin paper for your convenience and they will bag them for you as well if needed. There aren't any places to eat inside the store so don't plan on that. The staff is friendly and it seemed as if most the customers were local and knew what they wanted as I felt kinda pressed by them to make my choices and get out of their way. They were probably from the surrounding businesses and had to get back to work. I didn't let it phase me because I was too enamored by what I was witnessing and bought several different items because I live about an hour and a half away without traffic so I knew I had to grab while I could. The location isn't too far from the Takana strawberry farm so if you happen to go there put this place on a must have list as well. I've recently become obsessed with their savory selections and my recent discovery for Honey Lemon's salted cheese foam drinks has gotten me addicted! And it's crazy to think this just happened about a month ago, haha.

My coworker actually introduced me to Honey Lemon and their salted cheese foam. It's very similar to the trending salted milk foam or sea salt topping at a lot of tea places. I had to try it, so I went the Black Tea with Salted Cheese. What an astounding flavor!

A week later, my friend was visiting from San Diego and was raving about the taro mochi bread. Unfortunately, the day we went, they ran out since they were near closing at that time. So, I kept that in mind for this weekend since I was in the area. Boyfriend was picking something up at Lollicup, so I strolled in to try the Salted Cheese Coffee. On the Saturday I arrived, they had the taro mochi bread, so I picked one up. I also have a weird habit of never walking out with just ONE bread, so the shiitake mushroom cheese breadstick really caught my attention.

The next day, we found ourselves in the same area to visit the same locations - Lollicup & Sunmerry. This time, I picked up 2 taro mochi breads and 2 shiitake mushroom, plus a Light Oolong salted cheese. Obsessed? Just a little. Will I be back? I really liked their milk tea. Their mini chocolate danish was amazing. I wasn't a big fan of the chocolate inside of the the danish, but there was a layer of chocolate over the buttery and flakey pastry topped with cocoa powder which was so good. Their butter brioche bread was also pretty good.

I had to edit my review from 4 stars to 5 stars because I tried their cakes and they're AMAZING. I'm not a fan of heavy and overly sweet cakes. Their cakes a very light and have a nice balance between flavors. I highly recommend their strawberry cream cake. Now, I drive out over 30 miles just to get their cakes for any event. One time, I forgot to bring my card and the staff was very patient and kind to me. He offered to pay for it for me but I was able to find some cash in my car and pay for it. It's been a year since that happened and I think about that time a lot. Because of a small gesture from the amazing staff, they have gained a loyal customer!
