The freshly grilled, made to order food is the DEFINITE highlight of this place! I get their spicy teriyaki chicken plate every time and it hits every time. What makes it great is that it’s cooked fresh, comes out hot, and tastes really good. It has a nice teriyaki glaze to the chicken from being grilled on an open flame, and it’s paired with rice and a salad. Even better is that it comes at a great price. The value is way better than any other place at this price point. Now for what they can improve. From the outside the place is in a relatively new looking shopping area. But the inside I feel like could be cleaned up a bit. The tables seem to always feel sticky even though they’ve been wiped up. The trash can is always overfilled with the boxes the food comes in. I’m not sure why that is, since the place doesn’t seem busy across all hours. When we came in, there was only one other table seated, and yet the trash bin was full all the way. Maybe we happen to come in after a busy rush every time but I think an idea to fix this would be to ask if it’s take out or dine in. That way you can use plates which take up much less space in the bin, versus doing every order in the takeout box. Overall there is some details that can be improved upon that would really make the dine-in experience/ambience better. I think the place is really underrated for its food and deserves...
Read moreThe chicken was amazing, the beef, overcooked, tough, and it didn't taste right. The rice is not that good. The salad was okay, the egg roll was crispy on the outside, and mush in the middle, the spicy mayo is authentic and good. The teriyaki sauce is delicious but just a bit too sweet. The ranch for the salad, okay, there was definitely a smell from the pile of trash by the waste bin and the tables not being cleaned properly, definitely recycled mop water being used, 18 bucks for chicken, beef, an egg roll that is sub Jack in the box standards, and there's a place to tip? An announcement of a price increase with only a cleaner and a cook? No cashier, a kiosk, a long wait time with only 2 other people there? 24 minutes, I almost walked out. There's a reason that this place was rated well but almost completely empty at lunchtime. The seasoning is good on the chicken. If you don't mind the prices, the chicken is actually quite tasty. The sauces, minus the Saracha, are good. This place is hit or miss from my coworkers' feedback. The chicken is delicious based on my experience. If you take criticism to make you stronger rather than break you down, this could be a 5 star rating, everything in the back and the front, I don't want human interaction,...
Read moreWhen you walk through the front door the aroma of korean BBQ hits you in the face. No idea who the lady was at the front counter but she was super friendly with me since it was not busy I thought. 10 Min later I got my food and there is a line out the door. She still has the same attitude and was friendly with everyone as it had become organized chaos. Kitchen was slamming out orders and more people came. She still greeted everyone and smiled and spoke to them just as she did me.
The food was filled to the brim with chicken and pork. Most places don't serve pork so it's nice to see they did. The sauce selection was just as good and serve yourself as much as you want. Truly outstanding customer service and fast food style Korean BBQ. Can't wait to go back and try some new items....
