We visited this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation, hoping for some great momos. While the setup is simple and more casual, with no waitstaff and a self-service approach, we were eager to try the food.
The location itself isn’t fancy—situated near warehouses and close to the busy I-635. It’s a functional spot, but nothing remarkable in terms of ambiance.
There wasn’t much interaction with staff, but the person at the cash register was efficient, and the food was served quickly.
Here’s what we ordered:
Momos: Creamy Schezwan Vegetarian Momos: These were a standout. Both momos we ordered had the same filling, but this version was fried and served in a creamy schezwan gravy. The portion size of 8-9 medium-large pieces was very satisfying. Fried Vegetarian Momos: These were your regular fried momos, crispy and delicious, with the same filling as the Creamy Schezwan version. The portion size of 8-9 medium-large pieces was again, very satisfying.
Since this was takeout, two sauces were provided with the momos. I wasn’t sure what they were, but both complemented the momos perfectly, adding a nice balance to the flavors.
Overall, the food was delicious and well-priced for the quality and quantity served. While the location isn’t anything fancy, it’s definitely a spot I’ll return to when craving momos in the DFW area. There’s not much in the way of atmosphere, but if you’re here for the food, it...
Read moreMomo is a delicious dish that has become increasingly popular in recent years. As a fan of momo, I have had the opportunity to try a variety of different types and flavors from different places. I recently had the chance to try momo from a local restaurant, and I have to say that the food tasted absolutely amazing!
The momo had a perfect balance of flavors, with the filling being flavorful and delicious. The dough was soft and chewy, and it had just the right amount of thickness to hold the filling inside without being too heavy. I particularly enjoyed the sauce that was served alongside the momo, as it added an extra layer of flavor and complemented the dish perfectly.
What I loved most about this momo was how it was cooked to perfection. It was steamed just right, resulting in the perfect texture that was both tender and juicy. The momo was also served hot, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, I would highly recommend trying momo from this restaurant. The food tasted amazing, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. If you're looking for delicious momo, this is definitely the...
Read moreI recently visited a restaurant that claimed to serve authentic Nepali food, but my experience was extremely disappointing. The taste was far from authentic Nepali flavors. If you’re looking for true Nepali cuisine, this is definitely not the place for you. This was my first visit, and I had high hopes after seeing some videos on TikTok. A food vlogger, who goes by the name Food Nepal, was raving about this place, calling it amazing. However, I now believe the vlogger was misleading. It seems like the owner may have paid a good amount to promote their restaurant on that channel, as the claims about the taste and quality were completely false. To make matters worse, the customer service was also very poor. The staff seemed uninterested and unprofessional, which made the entire experience even worse. This place is a big NO for me. If you’re craving authentic Nepali food at more affordable prices, there are plenty of other options out there that are far better. Save your money and go...
