Read moreThe food here is just as great as the original location, but the service and understanding of their own menu need serious improvement. This is my second time ordering at this location. The first time, I ordered the Manhattan plate, and today I went for the falafel plate.
Before placing my order today, I clarified multiple times (as a new customer to this location) that I wanted the falafel plate to be the same as the Manhattan plate, just without the meat and with falafel instead. The first time I ordered, everything was prepared perfectly! However, this time, my order was completely off.
I called to address the issue, only to be told, “Sir, you ordered the falafel plate, so that’s why your order is the way it is.” But I had specifically ordered a falafel plate with pita, extra falafel, and all veggies, expecting the consistency I’ve experienced over the past 12 years as a loyal customer in Arlington.
What I received was disappointing: barely any rice (not even half a portion), one mushroom, and a plate that was far from worth the $18 I paid.
I was so excited to have this location close to where I live, but this experience was frustrating and disappointing. I hope they work on consistency and better communication with their customers. The food is great, but the service needs to match the quality of the...
Read moreI have eaten here 2 times. Well, I have ordered food to go 2 times. Both times, the food was ready before the estimated time, which is great. Service has always been polite, and the food is tasty.
The first time, I got a plate, and two others got wraps, and the second time, I got a chicken wrap.
Between the 3 wraps that I have seen/eaten, the sauce amount has been all over the place. One had a small/normal amount, and one was absolutely drenched when both were ordered with the regular amount. Like it looked like they had dunked it in a bucket of sauce like a hot Italian beef sandwhich. The 3rd, I ordered with "EZ white sauce" and it was far from light. I can only imagine if you ordered extra, you would get a wrap floating in a bowl of white sauce soup.
That is my only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, as it could be a turn-off for a lot of people. Seeing as the meals come with a little cup of sauce, I would recommend the owners instead go on the lighter side of saucing. A customer can always add more, but they can't remove it.
Aside from that, all the food I have tried so far has been fresh, hot, and delicious, and I will most certainly return to try a burger and...
