Ive got to say VERY DISAPPOINTED! AT LEAST I AM AS OF MY LAST VISIT HERE. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCES ANY OTHER TIME IVE GONE BUT NOT THIS ONE! I HAD EVEN BRAGGED ABOUT THIS PLACE TOO AND TALKED 2 FRIENDS INTO EATING THERE! WELL WE LEFT FRUSTRATED AND DISATICFIED. MY GIRLFRIEND WAS SO MADE SHE DIDNT EVEN FINISH HER FOOD AND GOT UP AND WALKED OUT SHE DIDNT EVEN FINISH HER DRINK! TO PUT IT IN A NUTSHELL THE SERVER DIDNT SPEAK ENGLISH VERY WELL WHEN SHE TOOK THE ORDERS OF CORSE THEY CAME BACK WRONG. THEN TRIED TO ARGUE THAT THATS HOW WE ORDERED IT. (SIMPLY SAYING WE ORDERED ONIONS N LETTUCE AND REFRIED BEANS INSTEAD OF DOUBLE RICE IS NOT EVER GOING TO HAPPEN BECAUSE I NEVER EAT ANY OF IT! AND WOULD NEVER ORDER THAT WAY) DIDNT MAKE TOO BIG A DEAL ABOUT IT BUT IT WAS SENT BACK ITS JUST TRYN TO EXPLAIN THE ORDER AGAIN TO HER SO SHE WILL MAKE SURE T IT comes out RIGHT this time was simply another aggravation! Well from here it only gets better instead of pulling it together and attempting to try at least to make her customers happy she simply tried her best not to even come back to the table at ALL! SHE DIDNT EVEN BRING US WATER AT ALL WE JAD TO FLAG HER DOWN AND BEG FOR IT CAUSE THE FOOD WAS HOT AND SHE HAD YET TO BRING OUR DRINKS YET SO NO SUPRISE SHE DIDNT OFFER ANY REFILLS OR CHECK TO SEE IF OUR FOOD WAS RIGHT THIS ROUND. AFTER MY FRIEND WALKED OUT WE WERE GOING TO TAKE LEFTOVERS HOME BUT COULDN'T GET HER BACK TO THE TABLE TO BRING TO GO BOXES. ANOTHER LADY BROUGHT US OUR CHECK AS SHE STOOD OFF TO THE SIDE WATCHING. IDK WHAT WAS GOING ON THAT DAY BUT NEEDLESS TO SAY SHE GOT NO TIP AND REALLY LUCKY THAT WE PAID FOR OUR MEAL! AND BEFORE ANYBODY ASKS NO THEY WERE NOT BUSY WE WERE ONE OF ONLY TWO TABLES IN THE PLACE AND A PERSON AT THE BAR. (NO DOUBT TRAINING ASSUMING) BUT YOU MIGHT WANT TO HELP HER BRUSH UP ON HER ENGLISH IF SHES GOING TO GO TO TABLES BY HERSELF AND I HOPE WITH THAT AND SOME MORE TRAINING SHE WILL IMPROVE, FOR YOUR SAKES.

I used to love this place — my last visit was 4 years ago and it was exceptional, easily 5 stars. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was the opposite.
I placed a $60 pickup order, which came in tightly tied bags. There was no way to verify the order without ripping the bags apart, so I had to trust it was correct. When I got home, I discovered they forgot my 8 steak tacos. I called and they admitted the mistake, but instead of fixing it in a customer-friendly way, I was told I had to drive back and pick them up. That meant another 20 minutes wasted and my other food getting cold.
To make matters worse, my chicken burrito was almost 80% rice, with very little chicken or cheese — even though I had clearly ordered it with chicken, cheese, onions, cilantro, and sour cream only. I even ordered in Spanish to avoid confusion.
When I called, the response I got was, “Oh, I’m sorry, let me talk to the cook.” But at that point, the damage was done. For $60, this was very disappointing.

I read some of the low star rating reviews & I agree the service & attention need improvement no doubt about it. All the foods I've tried I have enjoyed. The owners are nice people who do the best they can with a small business. What amazes me are the people who expect superior service at a family owned business, more than likely not going to happen. I've never had flies all over my food (one person mentioned this in a review). Maybe it was you who attracted them lol. All I know is that for a non-franchise restaurant it is okay to good not excellent. Don't expect American CS here, it's a Mexican place. The inside is mostly clean on weekdays, AC makes it nice & cool. Outside tables are relaxing while you eat. The orders from my experience take 10-20 minutes. People expect cooked food in 5 minutes or else they'll leave, post something bad online, worst experience ever. If you don't want to wait then do the following: 1) COOK 2) LEARN TO COOK AT HOME.
