Talk Jhal — Restaurant in Irving

Finally, Dhaka Fuchka is here in Big D. Located at “Indian Supermarket Halal Meat & Cafe” at Irving,TX.

Today, We went to Talk Jhaal’s Launching. Me and others got really got surprised !!! No ome expected this big crowds. The place was fully packed. Also for the opening they offered Bogo !!!

Waiting line was long. Everyone were waiting for Fuchka and they were sold out before 11 PM !!

Now ….. The Fuchka. They tried their best ro bring the Dhaka desi Flavor and taste was pretty good and matched. I would say 9/10. Chotpoti was totally freshly served. Food Presentation was good. The tetul tok was yummy.

All over, the total experience was really good. Specially after the big evening rain all the customers were happy and enjoyed.

They will be serving every week Friday to Sunday. 6 PM - 11 PM.

Not impressed. The Fuchka was below average. The tetul pani was thick like the consistency of honey. It shouldn’t be thick like that. There were three of us and we ordered three plates. We only finished one plate and threw the rest away. Was not tasty. The reviews here convinced me to make the 30 mins drive to this place but it’s over hyped. If you don’t have a mother, bhabhi, or wife that can make this at home for you and you are missing it/feeling nostalgic then maybe you think it’s good but if you eat chotpoti and fuchka at family gatherings then this will be avg or below avg.

They also do catering and when were there their catering orders took all the table spaces so we couldn’t sit comfortably. The tables and chairs are also not clean. Overall this was a big...

We liked their food during Ramadan, so we went there again on Eid al adha. Ordered morog polau and kacchi biryani to go, but received tehari and chicken roast instead! There was a piece of blue color plastic or rubber band in the tehari rice, got a picture of it, if anyone is interested. Very disappointed on the Eid day, God knows what else is mixed in their dishes. Special request to the owner and cook, please do a better job, we want to keep coming back to eat delicious...
