If i could score a 3.5 i would. Overall it was fine, but not the best.
Went thru the drive thru and it took a long time. At first I was thinking they are very slow but in the end i saw that the car ahead seemed to place a large order. I'm guessing by the size of the bag they were handed. So the delay wasnt Robs grill necessarily. Once I pulled up they took about the right amount of time to charge me and give me my food.
The burger was fine, the patties were slightly over done. I beleive they are 1/4 lb patties but they are very thin. The flavor of the dressing or whatever it is they put inside took care of the dryness and added some good flavor.
The onion rings seemed old. They were a little stale but I was able to push on and eat it without issue. The color was very reddish/orange-ish, I wish i took a photo. I thought it was a flavoring at first but it wasnt. It didnt change flavor, they tasted like normal onion rings, but it just didnt look normal.
I would go back to give them another try since I understand sometimes things just happen. But I'm not in a hurry to go back. I can go tonin and out not too far away and know that everything will be right. Even though their burger patties seem...
Read moreStepping into Rob's Grill, the aroma of sizzling steaks and smoky barbecue filled the air, instantly whetting my appetite. As I made my way to my favorite spot in the corner, I couldn't help but notice the familiar face already seated there. My heart skipped a beat when I realized it was none other than William Tricoche, the talented actor from "Mayans" and the upcoming movie "RZR" alongside Emilio Rivera and Danny Trejo.
Trying to maintain my composure, I took my seat nearby, stealing glances at Tricoche, who seemed engrossed in conversation with his dining companion. It was surreal to see someone I admired on the screen right before my eyes, enjoying a meal just like any other patron.
Throughout my dining experience, I couldn't shake off the excitement of being in the presence of a celebrity. Every bite of my meal was accompanied by the thought that William Tricoche was just a few feet away. It added an extra layer of thrill to an already delightful evening at Rob's Grill.
As I left the restaurant, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected encounter. It was a reminder of the magic that can happen in the most ordinary of places, turning a simple dinner outing into a...
Read moreI've been coming to Rob's for many years and food has always been super good. This is one of our favorite places to eat a good burger, pastrami, or spaghetti. Lately we been taking out food in the PM and the drive through staff hasn't been providing good customer service. They sound upset while taking your order. In addition, when I was waiting for my food, I could see one of the girls opening up my chicken strips with her fingers (not using gloves), I'm assuming to make sure they are fully cooked. They should have a food thermometer instead of deciding if it's cooked by just looking at it. I wasn't upset that she was checking the chicken strips, I just wished she would of used gloves while doing it. She was charging people at the register. I've encountered a few times that the PM staff have been rude, so I think I will stop buying food here. It's a drag to deal with rude enployees to get good food, I just rather not...
