Charli's Shave Ice — Restaurant in Islamorada

I am in love. I was told by a friend to check this place out in Isla Morada as I was not disappointed. I met the owners Dan and Jen when I went to get my shave iced. they are super awesome and great folks. Obviously, panic ensued because #1 it was hot, and #2 they had a lot of delicious choices. Coconut, Piña Colada, Key Lime (more on this in a moment) shave ice and little did I know ice cream. Not just any ice cream, but the locally famous flavor of Key Lime Pie Ice Cream. Folks, after choosing the Key Lime Pie Ice Cream, I may as well be a fish ‘cause I was hooked. LOL. Great texture, and flavor combinations made this treat delightful. It is a high quality/gourmet frozen dessert. I recommend this place to anyone visiting or passing by Isla Morada to stop by say hello to the friendly owners, and immediately order anything in the menu. Whether you want to cool off, or have a great dessert, Charli’s Shave Ice on Isla Morada is a winner. LOVED...

Every time I come down here me and my family stop here to get Italian ice, I come from West Palm Beach, which is about 2.5 hours north. My wife and I came about 6 months ago, just before my daughter was born and we arrived at they were closing, I explained that we came such a long way and they turned their machines back on so she could get some Italian ice which was so great of them. Fast forward to this morning, my family decided to go to Robbie's and get some breakfast at the restaurant. It was 9 am when we got there and when walked over to charli's after and noticed they didn't open until 11, so we waited around browsing until they opened. They opened up and I told her the story of the last time we were there and she remembered us, it was a great time and she even gave us the Italian ice for free. I highly recommend this place to everyone, from the product, to the owners and amazing customer service....

Yummy ice cream and shaved ice, and incredible customer service!

It was a hot December day and Robbie’s and Charli’s Shave Ice was the perfect place to get a snack! Large menu, multiple sizes, fast service (especially when you have tons of people and only one person behind the bus).

We have members in our party with celiac and when asked if anything was gluten free, for celiac, they answered and even offered to show us the tubs of ice cream and flavor bottles! There was a mix up on our end and when I reached out later, the owners were incredibly helpful and understanding. This is definitely a small business you should support! Owner said they will have an allergen list for everything soon!

The owners are great, service is fast, prices are decent, location is great, snacks are yummy!
