I stopped in on a Tuesday and couldn’t resist their Taco Tuesday special — only $2.00 each. The tacos came loaded with fresh onion and cilantro, and I tried both chicken and beef. The meat was well-seasoned, tender, and perfectly balanced with the toppings. The fresh lime and salsa on the side were a great touch that really elevated the flavor.

They also offer Lunch Especials Tuesday through Thursday, like enchiladas or taco dinners with marinated pork, which looked amazing. Prices are fair considering the quality and portion sizes.

The atmosphere is cozy and casual, and the service was quick and friendly. All employees are great!! It’s the kind of place where you can grab a quick bite during lunch or sit down with friends for a relaxed meal.

We recently moved to the Barrington area from living in downtown Chicago for quite some time and I haven’t been impressed with the food options out here.

Fast forward, we had family in town and they wanted Mexican food and they wanted to try Sofia’s. I was a bit skeptical that the food would be good, and I happy to share all my pre convinced notions were wrong.

The service is fantastic, super friendly and attentive. They provided complimentary chips and salsas. The salsas were DELICIOUS. My personal favorite salsa was the “orange” one.

As for entrees talk about bang for your buck. HUGE portions. Iordered a chimichanga dinner with al pastor meat (pork) and it was wonderful. The Mexican rice was fluffy and flavorful as well. Had leftovers for days!

We ordered from Grub Hub tonight. And not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the customer service was amazing as well. Shortly after placing my order through the app, I got a phone call from the restaurant. I had requested that the suizo was put on the side instead of on my burrito to prevent sogginess during transport and they were calling to confirm my directions. When my order arrived, the bag felt very heavy in comparison to what I had ordered. When I opened it up, I noticed they put the suizo on top of the burrito instead of on the side, AND gave me a whole other burrito with a side of suizo for free due to the mistake.
