Firehouse Subs Mountain Perkins — Restaurant in Jacksboro

This location has improper ventilation. I've been to many Firehouse subs and the room is never filled with smoke or steam. This location is filled with steam/smoke - people were coughing - When we asked about it they said it was steam. The horrible part of it is once we sat down the staff behind the counter proceeded to talk crap about us as customers. We take pictures for our reviews and once they saw that they yelled out "go ahead and record us, record the steam we don't care" 9/19 Noon. My wife was grossed out by her sandwich and did not eat it as you will see from the pictures. I ate mine but it was overly wet and the pickle was completely flat and misshapen which I thought was odd. We will probably never be back which is a shame in our small town so we just got some amenities finally besides fast food. Looks like when we have a sub craving we will just go to...

This was my first time in to this location and was very excited because I love firehouse subs. However, when we walked in the room was filled with smoke and fog so thick you could barely see. People were coughing and covering their mouths. When asked about it, the cash agent said “it’s not smoke it’s steam” then proceeded to run and tell all the staff what was said. We take photos for reviews, so I took a photo and Then multiple employees screamed out “tell her it ain’t smoke” “go ahead and report us”. After waiting for a steak and cheese it arrived with so much mayo and odd looking meat. It’s not what I have had at other locations. I was so grossed out, and concerned that the staff had done something to my food after all the laughter and shouting about me. Needless to say I will not be back and will go to jersey...

Each time I have been in there the room is filled with smoke/steam, I assume they need additional ventilation, I have made multiple online orders and they have been wrong more times then they have been right ! Go to jersey mikes if you want to be able to breathe while you eat your sub! My husband also tried to pay with a 100 dollar bill during in lunch and was told to go to dollar general to get change, and they would not take his order that was going to be two large subs chips and a drink ! So the total would’ve been 35 dollars and they turned him away because they said they didn’t have 65 dollars in change !!!!!!!!!! How is that...
