Fabulous and attentive staff -- particularly for the differently-abled!! Also delicious food and nice atmosphere.

My dad uses a walker and we went to Plaza Azteca for lunch. When we entered, the woman who greeted us asked if we would mind sitting in the lounge area. We agreed and were seated there. It was not until after the meal, when going toward the restrooms, did I notice that the restaurant area is up a set of stairs and the bar area is not actually open for lunch. The graciousness with which the staff had recognized dad's limited abilities and accommodated us in the otherwise-closed, downstairs location had been seamless. Having a waiter take the time to frequently come check on us, as the only people in that room, was extraordinary service!

I had the lunch-size Burrito San Jose, recommended by the waiter, and it was delicious (with dinner-size portions). Dad had a steak, chicken and shrimp burrito, but substituted extra shrimp for the steak. It was so good that he ordered a second one to go!! There was, however, an upcharge for the substitution that we were not warned about.

The Skinny Margarita on-the-rocks was delicious, but over $10 did seem a bit high. The blended lime margarita was not very good, but at least it was $2 less.

We will definitely go again (although we will skip the...

The food here was so good! We started with chips and salsa. Then shots of house tequila for the Birthday festivities. We got a few drinks as well. My wife got the strawberry Margarita. I got the CHICA PURPLE it’s Tito's Vodka, Blue Caracao, Lemonade, splash of grandine. Got to love purple drinks!

My Wife’s twin and husband got the Fajitas for two! One of their favorites!

My niece got the fajitas with all meats (chicken steak and shrimp) she loved it.

The got the kids Mac and cheese with French fries. However, they ended up eating our food as well. Haha go figure.

My Wife got the CAMARONES AL MOJO DE AJO it comes with Sautéed shrimp, garlic mojo sauce, onions, tomato and fresh avocado, served over rice with fresh cilantro!

I tried the SEAFOOD CHIMICHANGAS it came with Two flour tortillas, fried or soft with shrimp and crab meat drizzled with cheese sauce, lobster bisque and sour cream. Served side of rice and beans. I got double rice instead of beans. I also added chopped steak on top of the Chimichangas.

My meal was sooo delicious I woke up thinking about it the next day! I’ll be visiting them again for sure.

Service was quick, accurate, friendly and welcoming.

They are certainly...

My family and I went to Plaza Azteca after a family outing. We were seated a couple minutes after arriving which was great, they weren’t busy so I figured service would be fast. Well boy was I wrong we waited 19 minutes before we asked the bartender if we were going to be waited on. No drinks no chips not so much as a hello we’ll be with you shortly. Finally the waiter came over after the bartender asked someone who our waiter was. He didn’t seem apologetic in fact he acted as if waiting on us was a bother. We received our drinks exactly 13 minutes after the waiter took our order. When we left I only left a tip of $5 which I really didn’t want to do because his service was absolutely terrible. I wanted to leave a personal tip for him but didn’t have a notepad. My tip to him would be if you want a bigger tip actually do your job and don’t leave a table waiting for almost 20 minutes. The best part was the waiter was just standing by the register for the most part of the 19 minutes that we waited. My daughter keep looking at him with a are you ever go to wait on us look!! I will drive the extra 20 minutes to go to the restaurant in Reading were the service has always...

I usually Dine-In when I eat at Plaza, but since I now have a baby at home I decided to get take-out for the first time from them. I ordered the Chimichanga Dinner w/Chicken & had it fried. Unfortunately, it wasn’t great. Where it went wrong? Probably when I picked getting it fried😅 - The chicken in the Chimichanga was fairly dry & was hard to even cut in half. It was shredded, of course, however there were a couple chunks that had looked almost burnt. The beans that I got on the side were also not super flavorful as they usually are. Of course, I still ate it! I added my own sour cream & cheese to it since they are very stingy when it comes to that, lol. Overall, I would most likely get from here again - just if I ate there, rather than take out.

Ordered takeout. Street corn picture showed 3 ears of corn. I got 3 little broken pieces that were barley seasoned and dried out. Also ordered the nachos with shredded chicken. They were soggy, big chunks of chicken and did not have any Pico de galo. Not worth the price at all. Food is always good when we dine in but they are really missing the mark with takeout. The tostones were the only thing that was done right. Spoke with the Manager Candy and was told I could drive back for a refund. I advised that maybe she should be more aware of what their product looks like before sending it out. I don't have a problem spending money on good food but this was really disappointing and a total waste.
