If I could rate this restaurant a zero I would. My husband ordered Pad Thai at a level 6 heat flavor level, which he has had at many different restaurants in multiple states before and has prepared it himself at home. What he received was nothing close to pad thai and completely gross with a tomato base and no heat at all. My level 2 heat chicken lo mein had a lot more heat than his. He ate 2 bites of it and could not eat anymore of it. We asked the waitress if it could have been made wrong and she offered to take it away and asked what else he would like. He ordered sweet and sour chicken and we waited about 20 minutes. While waiting she did bring us complimentary tapioca pudding that had fruit in it and realized while setting them down that my husband's didn't have any fruit and commented that it was on the edge of the dish so that why it must not have any in it. They brought out the sweet and sour chicken finally and this dish was also not good. The best thing about the dish was the rice that diluted the flavor and made it bearable to eat less than half of it to fill his stomach. There was also no heat to this dish even though he asked again for a level 6 heat. We finally asked for the bill and after receiving it realized that we had been charged for both the pad thai and sweet and sour chicken. Assuming it was a mistake we called the server over and she informed us it was not a mistake and that the manager said that we would have to pay for both because it was a lot of food wasted since my husband asked for chicken and beef on his pad thai. She then conveniently set a to-go box down with the pad thai it in and told us we could take it home. We told her we had no desire to take home the disgusting meal that he couldn't eat more than 2 bites of and had no desire to take the sweet and sour chicken home either. The waitress asked if we wanted to speak to the manager and made the comment that it wouldn't probably make a difference in us being charged for a meal that was sent back and was offered to be replaced. Worst customer service I have ever had from an indifferent waitress and a manager who made no effort to come to talk to a table who sent food back and had the nerve to charge us for food that was not edible .*it is a shame too because we had discussed it being a nice place and some of the food we got was great and we were looking to come back until he lost twice at the food roulette game and then were subjected to one of the worst customer service experiences either of us have ever had. We will...
Read moreMy husband and I were super excited to find this little place as we love bubble tea and Thai food! What a disappointment! The bubble tea was delicious but the food and service was ridiculous. My husband ordered the Phuket Fish which is $18.95. It was supposed to be fish topped with a spicy sauce, the picture online shows a whole fish. We were served a tiny piece of fried fish which looked very unappetizing. The fish was dry and overcooked but the sauce and vegetables was okay. Cannot believe we paid $19 for it though. The guy that took our order…who I later found out was the manager was rude and pushed us to order quickly even though I asked to look at a menu. What was worse is I also ordered a mango fried rice with tofu. When we got home, we found out that we didn’t have the mango fried rice. I called the restaurant back and a girl answered. She was very polite and apologized for the mistake and said she would grab the guy who took our order as he was the manager. He proceeded to tell me I was in the wrong, I had not ordered it. His exact words were, “I don’t personally make mistakes…I don’t own two million-dollar businesses because I make mistakes…if you had ordered it, it would have been in there.”. He told me that I hadn’t ordered it, hadn’t paid for it, argued with me about what we had ordered and then told me that I was lying. When I told him that his customer service needed some work…he told me it was just fine.
Go here for the bubble tea but skip the food…a TOTAL waste of money and try not to run into the manager because he’ll just mess up your order and then accuse...
Read moreLong overdue bad review. I had a few good experiences here and a few great ones. Unfortunately the bad ones were entirely feasible to make great with positive customer service... yet this place lacked just that each and every time. I always took guests from out of town or work customers here. No more. Too many wrong orders, mismanaged bills, and when the food started lacking along with being given my to-go order with a few missing items with a 35 minute wait time making what was missing, that was enough. Giving me someone else's bill and then telling me I should be kind and pay for it by the manager.... was outrageous as well. I told her she doesn't know my situation and my companions being very well off were fine putting their food, on their bill. She scoffed and tried to enlighten me about giving and then spoke to me about her religious beliefs... lady... (the owner of the establishment mind you)... you do NOT do that to your customers. EVER.. No apology, no remorse... just a disdain for my wanting to pay for what I ordered and not someone else's. I have not been back in over 2 years and unless I read some apology reply I refuse to give it a 4th chance to upset me or the company I bring. I have not recommended it on several occasions and will continue to do so. I have had great service at Jasmines, Sakura (Fairlawn), and Kasai. Never a bad meal at either, never made to feel awful by the staff let alone in this case the owner... Here's your shot to...
