At the bottom of this review is my prior review from several years ago. What a shame!
We live 3 miles down the street from 3Bs, and we used to go all the time...several times a week. It's where we took friends and family when they visited us from out of town. My son and I watched the Cavs clinch their title at 3 Brothers.
Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill. Two weeks ago we waited 40 minutes on the patio before we were served. He had to ask a server to take our order. The manager bought our dinner...fair enough.
But then it happened AGAIN the very next time we visited a week or so later. I think we are going to find another favorite restaurant. We were promptly seated and served drinks this evening, and someone even changed the TV channel for us to the US Men's soccer game. And then...nothing. The Jackson football game ended and fans started flooding in. Just as we were about to walk out the manager saw that our drinks were empty and offered us refills. We explained the situation, and she apologized and insisted on taking our order and buying our meal. She ran off to get a pen and disappeared for 10 minutes. We apparently were not that high of a priority.
Love this place! We eat here at least once a week on average. Spacious seating (and seasonal outdoor seating) make this a comfortable place to dine. It's also a great place to watch the games, though I wouldn't consider it strictly a sports bar--more of a casual dining restaurant with TVs to keep an eye...
Read moreWanted to try a new spot for lunch on Saturday. We had the worst experience in a long time. After being seated it was at minimum 6 minutes before the manager/owner ( I presume) asked us if someone had taken our drink order. We said, no. He left to get our drinks and eventually a server came, she asked what we wanted to drink. No hello, no smile, no friendliness at all. We explained that the manager had gone to get them. I then said, I’ll have....... and started to order. She said oh you’re ready to order Now? .....like it wasn’t the right time for her. We gave our order. We waited far too long for some very mediocre food. My husband ordered fish and fries. The fish came on top of the fries, the fries were greasy from the fish laying on them and the bottom of the fish was awful. The only saving grace was the cole slaw. I ordered a chicken, bacon, ranch wrap. The bacon was cold and had been prepared a lot earlier. The wrap was burned and tasted charred. The server didn’t bring the meal, the manager did, and we were never checked back on, until she brought our check. We will never go back. One star is...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to eat at 3 Brothers Corner Tavern for a late lunch while our daughter was at a birthday party next door. My wife ordered a hamburger that may have been decent but nothing spectacular especially for the price. What ruined the meal was that the burger came on a cheap bun that quickly turned to mush. When a manager asked us about our meal I mentioned that the bun was really substandard for the burger. He laughed a little then replied that they had ran out of buns the previous night and had to buy some at the local store and they were just trying to use them up. I good restaurant would have at least bought decent replacement buns from the store instead of the cheapest ones and they would have used the proper bun as soon as practical. When we pointed out the problem I would have expected at least an apology but I guess food quality is a joke. Even if the food was better I just felt the restaurant didn't live up to the décor nor the atmosphere they seemed to be aiming for. I would go to 3 brothers again if a group of friends wanted to go but I wouldn't go out of my way...
