American Ice Cream — Restaurant in Jackson

I was camping nearby and spending some time in Jackson. Had lunch and did some antique shopping. Needed some dessert. Stopped in. The young ladies taking the order were friendly.

They were prompt in making the order. The dishes seem to all be soft serve based. I had the pecan avalanche and my wife had a mix in with cookie dough. Bot tasted great and the price was right. Similar to other places.

The ticket time was very quick, I came when the drive-thru was wrapped around the parking lot and received them in less than 2 minutes for 3 items. The workers had a good attitude and were more than willing to help. The “concrete” mixes have a very large portion and tasted quite good (if you have had “Cook-Out” before then it is similar to their shakes). The items have a very good price for their sizes, probably twice the portion for the same price compared to fast...

The workers are so rude i went Sunday and later that week with my friend. The ice cream is good but the pretzel bites are so greasy! The menu is so outdated and drive through is worse!! The workers are really rude and like to roll their eyes. The atmosphere sucks as-well you can tell who is a lazy worker because they are always bossy to the other workers.
