Barrel 131 — Restaurant in Jackson

My wife and I had a wonderful experience here. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and helped us to design cocktails that met our cravings. The prices were reasonable, and their retail section had some unique finds I haven't seen other places. All told, we'll definitely be back!

Edit 03/2022: Unfortunately I believe this establishment is struggling to find staff. The young lady serving us was friendly, but was the only one working and couldn't give any patron much more than passing attention. The quality of the cocktails has decreased drastically. We had 3 different cocktails and 2 of them were made wrong, with 1 of them being almost undrinkable. I hope once staffing issues are resolved this place can return to it's...

Barrel 131 is an absolute gem! Tiffany provided outstanding service- she was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Made us feel right at home! The creative drink menu is packed with unique and expertly crafted cocktails that tasted amazing! They also have a great selection of beer, wine and spirits. To top things off, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you’re getting. Whether it’s for a date night or a casual evening out, this place is perfect! Can’t wait to come back!...

It's in a good location within uptown Jackson. The interior is a modern/rustic theme common among recently renovated period buildings. The Moscow Mule I ordered was well presented and tasted accurate. You have the choice of being in the fervid bar area, or a secluded side room. The ceiling fans were turning and it was a bit chilly... but then I'm sure this increases their table...
