The Ground-A-Bout — Restaurant in Jackson

It was a wacky Wednesday, and me and my friend Lizzy B went for coffee! Typically I am one to get a iced vanilla blonde latte, not today! I felt called to order a matcha latte! Now a fun fact about me is I hate matcha! But I tried theirs and I was left speechless! I enjoyed matcha for the first time! It was perfect:) The ambiance was pretty good we sat at their long table that looks out the window! Since it was 7am the sun was rising but lucky for us their building did not face the sunrise so no beams of light hit us in the eyes as we talked! Great place to go 10/10...

This is the easiest review I have ever written. I will give you contrasting examples. You walk in and ask for your coffee and quiche and would like it a certain way, at Groundabout they are small and personable, you can be involved in the barrista process, or add or change something and the person who is authorized to decide about the change is right there. I've had some nice experiences here- it's adorable inside, and the desserts are always tasty. Great quiche as well! I did have a negative experience the last time I went last spring. There were about five tables full of people, but when I went to the register, they said they were closed and turned us away. I understand if they were closing, but there were still tables they weren't asking to leave.
