I think that the restaurants are not fully prepared for online orders. The app allowed me to select a time 15 minutes after opening, and I arrived on time. The app gave me an error when trying to view my order, but fortunately I was able to print the email I got. I called the number on the sign and I kept getting a busy signal at first. When the team member did answer, I could barely hear her. I told her that I have an order for pickup, and she nonchalantly said that the chicken wasn't ready yet and it will be another 15-20 minutes. 30 minutes later, another team member (much nicer) said that they were out of one of the sides I ordered, so I changed my request. Five minutes later, he came back and said they were out of another side and had to substitute it, so I had to change it again. 45 minutes after initial arrival, I received my order. The employee saw me on my phone and said, "Are you calling in on me?" I thought that was an odd question to ask at the time.
Unfortunately, my family and I were dissatisfied with some of the items. The chicken was either overcooked or fried in old oil because the crust left a burnt aftertaste. The macaroni had pieces of burnt cheese mixed in and we picked through it. The tea was too hot to drink and had to be refrigerated, so we had to drink something else. The tea was also unmarked (I ordered one sweet and one unsweet), and both of them ended up being sweet.
I understand the current plight of restaurant workers and I have been empathetic to many. My only requests are that (1) if certain restaurants are not equipped for online orders, they should not be listed and (2) some level of remorse should be expressed when there are delays. It may be just a bad day on their part, but I have chosen to not visit this...
Read moreThis seems to be a rough place for a gentleman to work inside with the staff there. Every time I come through the drive thru or inside the building there is always a female ( always different and always young) doing what I call harassing and slandering a certain gentleman whom has humbled himself to take a job at a restaurant due to the current economic crisis, but to learn all this in a line waiting for food being held up (on multiple occasions) by some young female who is obviously upset that the gentleman would not have relations with her to the point she was threatening him to call his wife... This mess is garbage... The man took it so well and quoted his faith in Jesus and God as he apologized to her ( which he didn't owe any apology to either of us) then turned to me to apologize for the wait and the scene. This is why no one will work anymore, they have a hard time getting the job, a hard time out of the bosses threatening to replace you constantly, so a basically you have a hard time getting then keeping the job and then after all that you have a hard time wanting the job that is underpaying and overworking you with underqualified understaffed places of business it is no wonder that every thing is going this way. My sincerest of apologies to the gentleman I mentioned but if I didn't say something I know he isn't going to. So good luck to him on the job and kudos for making it this long in the hostile work...
Read moreIf I could give this location a negative five stars I would! I went one hour before close. The drive thru was so backed up we waited 20 minutes just to order...Tried to order the smokehouse chicken and was told they didn't have any borbon sauce to make it. So we decided to order chicken tenders instead, and big surprise they were out of spicy tenders. Okay, no big deal we love the tenders so we order 20 regular tenders fir the family. We pull up to the window the lady takes our payment then tells us we we need to pull around and park she will bring the tenders to our car when they are finished cooking. After 15 minutes sitting in the parking lot I walked in and asked had she forgotten we were out there... There were 6 employees in the building; only 3 appeared the be actively working. There were no dune in customers. She yells to the guy cooking where are my 20 tenders. He says here I hope they done. She boxes them. There was one packet of ketchup in the whole restaurant. When we got home part of our tenders were dry and over cooked while others were still...
